I’d like to see how it reacts to going off a curb at an awkward angle. Or even reversing near a cliff.

Checking the numbers it looks like... 123,037. Possibly less at this point. Only about 100,000 in South Dakota and 101,000 in Montana.
We don’t need one that truly FUCKS, we really just need either a performace hybrid or XT.
The Forester Edition FUCKS
Dammit now you’re making me miss Flint. I need to find some Vernors and soft serve for a DIY Boston Cooler.
It’s a good idea, explained overcomplicatedly, because it sort of needs to. It basically rolls in fixed-position competition caution stops, while still keeping 2/4 tire strategy. The Modified Tour uses similar, where you can take only 1 tire the first time into the pits, but can do more on the second time around. It…
With the trucks, the first 2 stages are shorter than a fuel/tire run most of the time. I’d expect them to tweak the stage lengths to accommodate the needed run lengths.
Man gets free Tesla using ONE WEIRD TRICK!
‘“Hey, Here’s the Nazi, drinking his coffee and wondering if today will be a good day.”
Its just a shame that south of Poughkeepsie isn’t Upstate.
And a frame weighs around 400-500 lbs. I don’t see how that, plus added strengthening of the unibody, will make up for a 1200 lb weight difference. Add in a top range Model X being 5500 lb, and this thing will GVWR 10k easily.
I didn’t even touch on the frame or anything internal. I literally just used the visible sheet metal with an estimate of 300 sq ft, which was a random internet estimate of the amount of vinyl to wrap a pickup. Take that, add in the fact the Tesla’s body is literally 3x thicker and almost 4x as dense, and there you go.
Radiation exposure?
My truck will go one MILLION MILES!
I will also note, there are benefits to Tesla to making it Class 3, namely pedestrian and occupant safety. It won’t have to meet normal crash standards, so it won’t necessarily need airbags and won’t legally have to worry about hitting things or people when built like a literal tank.
1st Gear: Tesla’s GVWR will actually likely be above 10,000 lb, figuring things like batteries and supposed 3mm thick stainless steel bodywork, making it a Class 3 truck. So to have equivalent class specs you’re looking at the F350/F450 trucks.
Dr Pepper. And then I chew through the ice. Yes, I’m that person. Deal with it.
I mean I used joke units for our FSAE program submission one year. Torque reported in N-ft, and I think I resolved HP to microfirkin-hectare/furlong-fortnight.
“There’s too many options on base model cars, making them too expensive for normal people to afford. All I want is a car with a radio and 3 pedals.”
I just wanted to let you know that Mobil 1 15w-50 and their 0w-30/0w-50 Racing oils are super high in zinc and pretty much designed for flat tappets. I can’t say off the top of my head compared to Rotella, but the 15w-50 in particular is what Mobil themselves recommends for classic cars.
