Wouldn’t it just be easier to have your rule be “Points leader through 36 wins the thing?”

Hello, yes. Person who works inside of the sport’s many layers of gears here. Just want to point out for my own sake that the opinions of those on top in no way represent everyone below them. Do they represent some of the workforce? Yes. Probably not an insignificant portion. But there are plenty that feel otherwise

Having been passively watching these for a few years with the intent of one being a “One day project” after the Champcar, boat, truck engine swap, and probably something pre-war (around life) this is a pretty reasonable price for a restorable one. Not an exceptional price, but its all there.

I’d be hard pressed to not thing the rear 3/4 is from a 4 door next gen Camaro myself:

They are. Unfortunately, there’s competing “Standards.”

Wicked Weed’s Funkatorium seriously has some of the best beers I’ve ever consumed.

Yep, that’s it. I have a bottle of Chiavetta’s in my cupboard that I use occasionally, but it’s easy enough to just make the stuff. My family has done catering in WNY for a few decades and that’s pretty much the go-to basting sauce, though I’m almost 100% certain their recipe is white vinegar, and maybe some sugar.

Simple: Remove the wing. That way contact is wheel to wheel instead of wing to wing. You touch tires, things break, but not as likely to be chunks of wing on the track.

I don’t know for sure as it’s a rather old recipe. If I had to guess it is either for the mixing vinegar with oil capability of oil (like mayonnaise) or for the browning effect on the skin (like egg-washing a bread).

My go-to chicken bbq marinade is a mixture of white vinegar, egg, and McCormick Poultry Seasoning. I don’t remember the quantities off hand, but its something like one egg, 2 c vinegar and maybe 1-2 tsp seasoning? Either way you can marinade in it, and/or brush/spray it on a few times through grilling.

No, but as they age and new ones come in, those who are nostalgic for the early 2000s Foose and Coddington customs boom era will swoop into their place and the currently overpriced because boomer coveted 50s chevy customs will come around again.

I maintain that chrome rims can still look good on certain cars. Similar to the current Radwood boom, they’ll also make a huge comeback in about 5-10 years.

I really wish we could reset and make it so not every business has to operate at an ever increasing profit. They still turn a profit, it just isn’t a bigger one than it was before. HOW IS THIS BAD FROM A COMPANY SUSTAINABILITY STANDPOINT?

Michigan doesn’t even have that. Does it have something that appears to be a VIN, some sort of (NO FAULT) insurance and moves down the road? Ok it’s legal. 90% of the car can be rusted and they’ll still roll around. No exhaust, dashboard like a christmas tree, uses a gallon of oil (burning and or leaking) per hundred

That said, I myself enjoy living in a place where car fans can straight-pipe their compact beaters to make them louder than Lamborghinis.

Formula SAE: A collegiate engineering competition where you design, build, then attempt to race a car. From scratch. It inevitably ends up with everything procrastinated and everyone struggling to even show up with something rolling, much less well tested and fast. One year we had some issues with the car build (as

I’m curious to try now. Its been about 8 years since I killed shandies for myself by being part of a group that went through about 20 cases of Leine’s Summer Shandy in 4 days while failing at an engineering competition and they’ve not really sounded appealing since.

1.) Subaru’s CVT has been amazing in a field of terrible transmissions IMO. The Forester XT my mother has is a joy to drive.

I see it, I want to LS swap it.

Subaru SVX. I’ve been in love with that car for a long time. A co-worker was recently borrowing one while his daily was in for service and I got to ride in it! Exciting! Except my size 12 boots couldn’t fit in the almost nonexistent passenger footwell so I was sitting more uncomfortably in the passenger seat than I
