and game like saint row , larry king, mass effect and GTA etc are any better?

Of course you don't. It doesn't serve the cause of the article, just like mentioning the fact that it's a hidden easter egg.

What Battery said. It's out-of-the-way, so much so that I didn't notice it playing through the entire game the first time.

And if you're interested in a little bit of context, many adventure games in the 90's featured this sort of interaction...D&D Tower of Doom and Shadow of Mystara are but two examples that immediately spring to mind (shopkeeper poking, anyone?). Ever think this might be an homage? Nah, it's not like Dragon's Crown is

Yes, there are.

It's important to point out that the game never tells or shows you how to do this. I would categorize it as an "easter egg". It's during a scene where you're using the left stick or D-pad to select a dialog path. You have to go out of your way to bring up a cursor and press an addition unprompted button to do this.

Video started well, dropped pretty quickly, became significantly worse and a whole lot less funny... it seemed to start off satirical then it just became... I don't even know.

Anita's original videos are horrific.

At least they were smart enough to pass that law.

You cannot just mention the Sega Saturn without Segata Sanshiro!

Comments and ratings disabled on her video?

the worst thing about all the hoo-haa around sarkeesian is that you cant criticise her argument without looking like an asshole.

You mean the fanmade "non-profit" project that was trying to get money through someone else's IP is getting sued?

Always on. Always watching and listening and recording you.

WTF "The Dictionary, which is the only thing that counts" ????

Don't forget Amaterasu, GLaDOS and Chell, all the pieces from Tetris, all the characters from every Elder Scrolls game, the triangle from Super Hexagon, the space ships from Kerbal Space Program, Kirby, Yoshi, all the Pokemons...

NeoGAF is beyond pissed about this.

I'm speechless. This is unbelievable. How many more RPG franchises are going to be run into the ground by the Japanese corporations behind them?

you got me Tim, you got me ...

I know you don't like it, but that was one hell of a commercial. This is what I imagine North American culture would be like if Japan won WW2.

An action game, huh? Somehow I had the feeling a text adventure might be more your style.
