Out of all other japanese companies, surely Square is the one who's trying the most to appeal to the western audiences. Probably due to the shrinking of the japanese market...

@Panteleon: The story is generic, the main characters fail to be memorable, the overworld is hardly original enough, the cities feel like MMORPG hubs... actually in general the game feels like an offline MMORPG. That's not bad per se... it's bad for a game based on the premises of eastern RPGs and having the name FF.…

What I don't understand in this story is... even if Bob is a maniac, even if his game's nothing special... why in the nine hells they went so far to not allow him to publish it, there's so much garbage on the DS that's by all means worse even than just the really boring gameplay videos Bob showed.

If you extend the term game to YHTBTR then anything with barely any interation without a real purpose or any entertainment value (beside the joke itself) made in flash on rthe internet could be nominated.

@NovaBlack: Frankly FFXII sucks rat ass IMO. I played all the other games in the series (aside from XI) and loved them. I'm just not in the whole westernization it got.

Guess this guy would be surprised to learn that what he has done countless times in games, aka killing people, is actually prohibited by the law.
