When I got my first iPod, my family and friends didn't believe me that the earbuds didn't fit my ears. They fit everyone I know perfectly fine, and it confounded me for the longest time, thinking I was just doing it wrong.

Dealzmodo returns! WOO!

The iPhone is a brilliant piece of technology and an excellent product, but despite what Apple's favorite keynote buzzwords would have you believe, these very slight feature improvements to the screen, processor, and antenna every year are no longer "innovative" or "revolutionary" changes.

Which is kind of sad. Apple's announcements have been pretty underwhelming lately.

Obligatory.

So I've somehow managed to be completely out of the loop here (pun unintended, but I'll leave it anyways), and I honestly haven't even heard of this film before today. I've never seen io9 this enthusiastic about a movie before, so I looked up more reviews.

Wow, I haven't heard a lot of people say they like the twin-stick controls for Mirror's Edge. I own the PC version, but I've played the demo many times on my Xbox. I immediately see a lot of mouse-flick maneuvers I regularly use that just aren't possible on a controller.

Definitely agree. Mirror's Edge is one of the very few singleplayer games that I pick up and replay to completion on a regular basis, just because I enjoy it so much. In fact, I did precisely that a couple days ago.

While it's definitely not quite as good as either Android or iOS, there are some pretty great interface ideas in webOS. The gestures are really intuitive, and the card-based multitasking is just wonderful. It's no surprise that both Apple and Google already integrated a couple suspiciously similar features since webOS

"The damage can be even worse if you are holding a metal object. For one thing, doing so increases the likelihood of being struck in the first place."

Wow, I'm kind of really liking this so far. It's a little slow compared to regular Explorer, but I'll definitely play around with it to see if the benefits outweigh the minimal delays.

Holy crap, is that seriously powered by regular Mindstorms motors? That makes it just so much more impressive, despite the speed.

I had the pleasure of seeing this model in person at the Brickfair convention earlier this month. Videos and photos seriously don't do it justice. There is just so much detail on this thing from every angle.

Seems like a lot of people live in Anonymous Proxy these days.

Huh, same here. I'm seeing zero lag at all, despite trying it in both embedded and fullscreen sizes. I do love playing / am fairly good at playing rhythm games, but I haven't played in ages.

Well, crap.

Have you ever had those little cakes, with the crunchy ball bearings on top? Nobody else in the entire galaxy has ever even bothered to make edible ball bearings! Genius!

"Only Chick-fil-A claimed the toys were pulled because of a "possible safety issue". That, of course, is a complete lie."

Is it just me, or is this idea directly lifted from the Smart Dust in the last few episodes of Eureka?
