Thanks for this piece, Stephen. When my the company I worked for was purchased by EA, I was ready to pack my bags. I'd written my master's thesis as an indictment of EA's labour practices in 2006, and it was a conversation with JR that convinced me to stay. I think his vision guided EA out of a very dark time, and he…
Thanks for picking this up off my Twitter, Tina... even if my coworkers at PopCap are a little sore their tweets didn't get noticedBURN!
Uh, clearly nobody watched the director's commentary for this episode on DVD months ago... as they bloody pointed this out.
Uh, "EA CEO Peter Moore"?
Funny thing is, the woman who modeled for this character is named "Redd" and her hair is pink. Check out an interview with her in my podcast:
I know the woman who modeled for this character, and you'd never mistake her for a man. Check out an interview I did with her.

Not to pimp too hard, but I just managed to get the lady who modeled for both the Demon Hunter and the Monk. If you're interested to learn how that happened, Just search for "AveryCloseCall" in iTunes and check out episode 3 or [averyclosecall.libsyn.com] , going live later this afternoon.

Oh, that's serendipitous. At 10:40pm PT last night, the very moment this story was posted, I likewise published a debut podcast in which my cohost lists Mount & Blade as the greatest medieval game ever. That's fate, check it out! [itunes.apple.com]
I worked with the Inside Xbox guys in the US and I can't say I've ever had more talented colleagues nor better camaraderie. With skills like that, they'll land amazing gigs in short order, but I'm saddened see a sudden stop to those roles. Here's to a job well done, homies.
Don't feed the trolls.
I've had a couple of these for more than a year now. Not only are they fun, the laser cutting leaves a scent much nicer than that of the con-goers passing by.
Good comedic delivery!
Am I the only one that was disappointed to realise the headline was "beaded" sprites instead of "bearded sprites"?
This article seems to miss that several of these shirts are INTENTIONALLY ridiculous. Look closely at the 'gropers' or 'root' shirt and it's obvious these are in-the-know comedy. Am I missing something in assuming the author is missing something?
