My mom bought me the first season of Mission Impossible. I finally got around to watching it after all these years.

I bet the health care at S.H.I.E.L.D. is pretty good.
My guess? Then they don't have to pay royalties to any of the character's creators.
Mmmm.
As others have pointed out, dystopian SF movies really rose to dominance during the late '70s and early '70s. Soylent Green, THX-1138, Planet Of The Apes, Silent Running, and Rollerball all come to mind. Hell, there was even at least one dystopian future SF comedy, Woody Allen's Sleeper. And this isn't even close…
haha!
What i see during these gigantic battles:
One of the best things about the LEGO movie, is that nearly everything you see in the movie is totally build-able. So even if something isn't released as a Lego set, you can bet that eventually die-hard Lego fans will put together instructions and a list of pieces you can get from the Pick-A-Brick section of the Lego…
A couple of my friends were at a private studio screening last week, and their assessment was this:
Y'know what? I want to see this adapted. Big or small screen. When you consider that even in female dominated films and tv shows women and girls are outnumbered 5-1 and that in background groups of people are about 17% female*, the complete and utter destruction of the male sex in one story is really the only chance…
AMC and HBO, which is where this series should be, only do 10-12 episodes seasons. Allows for a bigger budget per episode. Only network tv really does 20-22 episode seasons nowadays. Th examples you gave, AHS and Netflix series, are also only 12 episodes.
Do many seasons still include 22 episodes? Seems like most high-brow TV now goes for mini-seasons of 10-13 episodes.
Y the Last Man is 60 issues. The story spans four to five years. There is no way you can adapt this in a single season.
I'm going to start a completely made up, yet awesome Star Wars rumor.
Possible Scenario: Nintendo drops console support in favor of portable support wherein it consistently has the better system and library by comparison to its direct competitors.
Possible Scenario: Nintendo drops hardware support (ala Sega) and we start seeing Nintendo characters/mascots on other systems.
Less likely to…
Easy.
There is an abridged version already from legit sources - the 1977 animated version.
This is the only Aquaman I will accept, chum.
Lem's translators are going to be important as some of them are better than others. It'll be important for you to check. I've found the Michael Kandel is better than some of the others.
The Prestige/The Illusionist
I've found which one you prefer comes down to which one you watch 1st. I have a friend who has pretty solid movie tastes but he saw The Illusionist first and can't stand the Prestige. I on the other hand almost fell asleep during The Illusionist.
