I thought it was quite appropriate. I think the trailer imitates that usual game trailer blah blah, while also making fun of itself, because the advertised product hardly qualifies as a game (it's only a first prototype - there's no target, no obstacles, you cannot collect rings, or anything - you can only run around

I'm quite sure that "this year" refers to the questioning, not to his actions. I.e. Even this year he will still be questioned for the stuff he did three years ago.

Yes, I know it, but it's not common knowledge. You did not "elucidate the possibility of an emulated version of the game" - you just threw the name of a program out there, which, by itself (and even within everything that is officially supported by its developers), is completely useless to run the game in question.

Hell no! If THAT is what Google gives you, then it's not your friend, it's your worst nemesis. I've done that before (as an experiment, not because I'm a masochist) and it just sucks. If you want a virtual machine with Win95, then DOSBox is the worst way to go. You should use VirtualBox or any other Virtualization

What do you mean? Are you volunteering to port the game to DOS so we can play it in DOSBox?

When I went to school, I didn't even have a cell phone. I used my PSP instead.

Another time, it was clear I'd become mentally exhausted, and forgot to employ one of the more common solutions to a basic part of the puzzle. That's on me, Talos. But in a game with literally hundreds of puzzles, am I supposed to get emotionally hung up on failing one or two?

Are you saying that 80% of the human population do not know what a CPU is AND are reading this article about the Xbone SDK leak? I'm quite sure that 80% of the human population will never even know that this article exists...

I've never even been to an English-speaking country, and I'm surprised anyone would consider this word obscure. ^^ Same for "forensics" and "polytheism", by the way...

Let's see... Nope, haven't purchased anything listed here. Haven't even heard of most of them. :P

I think I'm gonna barf just watching that gif.

Since you keep saying you don't know why you got the 40 GB download: From what I heard, patch 4 is incompatible with patch 3 for some reason. So you are affected by the error, because your game was up-to-date before patch 4 was released. That's also why deleting and reinstalling the game (if you have a physical copy)

You don't even need a credit card to purchase stuff in the Playstation Store, so why would you lose the right to play any games from the Playstation Store by adding and then removing your credit card data from your account?

This proves it. Loving Rogue and hating on Unity? Kotaku is clearly run by the Templars!

EDIT: Sorry, this was supposed to be a reply to the review, not to your comment. :(

Given its efficacy, it's a wonder that the town and its theme song made it into the game at all. Consider Lavender Town's purpose: it's where Pokémon go to be buried. Imagine, if you will, a child playing Pokémon Red or Blue for the first time. They're told the game is about friendship, about bonds, about exploring,

Yes, five of them - Tearaway, Uncharted, Four Seasons, Crystal, Stitching. You can find and download them for free from the Playstation Store. (I just did. ^^)

The comics don't tell a good chunk of the story, though. You also had to follow the novel series, movies, web serials and much more...

The protectors that are released as LEGO sets are the elders of the Okoto villages. Generally, though, "protectors" is what the Okoto villagers are called now.

I read this to my nephew, who was one of the world's biggest Bionicle fans back in the day, and he said "Oh, they've changed it a lot." He then attempted to explain the first series to me, something about six protectors with six masks and then six more masks and then I stopped him. I'll get on at the next stop.
