Ford Mustang. I’m a 31 year old white-collar doofus and I would love to spend $35k on a new Mustang GT. But I can’t. Because the stereotype is there for a reason. Even if it does have 435 HP and a great suspension and awesome exhaust note and killer looks.
A nasty LS, T56, and side pipes will fix it!
from a few engineers I’ve known in the past who have interacted with Bob Lutz (at Chrysler,) his attitude was more or less “don’t be afraid to tell me I’m wrong, just be ready to show me what’s right.”
Looks so much better than the 2015 car.
An LSX w/T56 is worth more than $1,000. This is more like a $5K car with $4,500K worth of engine/trans. However, if you can point me towards $1,000 LS-whatever w/ a T56 for $1,000, I’ll take two at that price.
I was right there watching this, it was awesome, they decided last minute to do some final filming of it from a helicopter and they took the Vulcan out over the sea to do it - I was right on the beach walking the dogs at the time, so I got my own personal airshow - it’s not like they were over populated area’s doing…
What exactly was the point of banning aerobatics on ALL vintage aircraft? We don’t ground all passenger jets when one has a problem - you stop only what might share a common cause with the first accident. Seems like safety theater to me... or I suppose safety theatre, being British.
Those aren’t rolls, those are inverted heading changes that include a leveling maneuver.
I made a mistake in the state (because Kansas City is not in Kansas) and want to let everyone know that if there’s a Dearborn in Kansas, the residents don’t deserve the criticism.
There needs to be a gofundme for this girl!!
Only four? Considering how many Challengers and Chargers I see around of previous generations, I think they’ll be just fine.
I think it’s for margaritas.
It’s North Charleston, SC. Keeping it classy!
Most people are missing the obvious take-away point from this and that is how superb airfield fire fighters are. They generally spend 364 days of a year practicing and on that one day when they are really needed (and not just following in something that has a minor failure which they do as well, just in case) they…
This isn’t a Boeing issue at all. It’s an engine and maintenance issue. So there are three people that can be to blame here:
We used to play this chicken game with the Russians back in the ‘80’s. We were careful to turn off radars and to aim weapons down to the deck to preclude any excuse for a “misunderstanding” and I thought both sides, at least the men on the ships if not the men back at headquarters, pretty-well understood the game. I…
