Love FarCry3.

Thanks for the tip.

Keep in mind that 720p is only "internal"... it uses sophisticated upscaling so that it's driving your TV at native 1080p.

I'm so pissed at the morons that over-reacted and got the "never have to swap discs again" feature killed on the Xbox One. I was so looking forward to that. I *hate* having to get up and swap discs any time I want to play a different game.

And I still don't see how you can't see a practical use. Especially given how they're prominently featured in common dialogs, making finding, opening, and saving your files so much easier (don't have to remember what drive something is on, especially if it's buried down deep somewhere). They're just so easy,

Sorry, just had to laugh at the 'more privacy' thing... hee.... wow...

The way you describe "libraries" is so against any way I understand them that I still think you are the problem here, not Libraries.

Just set the view to "General Files" and you'll notice an instant speedup. Whatever, I have a lot of files in my libraries, and have never noticed any difference between them and going straight to the underlying folder. If you have a thousand images or videos in a folder, and the folder view options are "optimized

Only available for 'pre-order'? What witchery is this?!?

I have to say I have no idea what you're talking about. I just verified on my system, but looking in my libraries is just as fast as looking into any other folder. And it looks just the same. I really do have no clue what you're complaining about. I've never seen any such things. Ever. On any system I've ever

Duh, yes I know I can create a regular folder to hold installers. That's how I always used to do it before Windows 8. I created an "installers" library and got some big wins from doing so... like the contents of the folder are just automagically backed up (and easily restored) via File History, and they're a simple

It's working okay considering... would be working a lot better without the mindless petty obstructionism of the idiots on the right, whose only goal seems to be to oppose anything Obama proposes, no matter how much public support he has, no matter even if he's just agreeing with their proposals.

What you're describing doesn't sound like "Libraries" at all. Do you think "Libraries" are just one folder you dump all files in? Why would you think that?

I have to say I can't imagine how you get lost looking in libraries... they're so much easier and more efficient than just randomly spreading files around in hidden folders on the drive somewhere.

But hiding it doesn't help you do anything, and can in fact, hinder your efficiency in many ways. Which is my point: Why would any rational, reasonable person want to do that?

Nobody's forcing you to put all your sensitive documents on SkyDrive. But it's nice to have SkyDrive because of it's ability to allow you to fetch your files (even those not stored on Skydrive itself) from anywhere you are. This is seriously useful when you're somewhere else, and forgot a file that's on your home PC

I think you don't get or understand skydrive then.

Why would anyone want to get rid of Skydrive?

Why?

They derived the wrong lesson: the lesson should have been "Help people learn and understand and use Libraries, because they're a core feature and extremely useful."
