That's weird.

Why would anyone want to? It's one of the single best new features in Windows 7.

Given how many Windows 8 features RELY ON LIBRARIES, this is one of the most head-scratching changes I've ever seen.

Yay! Have they fixed their main website for Win8.1's IE11? There's been this annoying problem for a while now that it detects IE11 Metro on a Surface RT as being "Mobile" and forcing you to the mobile site. Highly annoying. Only option is to turn on compatibility mode, which makes Facebook bitch at you to update

That is weird, because I'm not aware of it ever not happening.

No, the expansion has worked forever all the way back to XP.

Windows 8 fixes this issue, by having a hidden files toggle right on the ribbon in File Explorer.

I find this visually annoying, personally.

I do this too. This is REQUIRED, and I have no idea why anyone prefers the default taskbar behavior. It's grossly inconsistent between apps with one instance, and apps with multiple instances.

On Windows 8 Desktop:

Also: Mouse to upper left corner and drag down to expose the switcher. Right-click on any app in the switcher and select "close". A fast way to close multiple apps.

...and it still sucks.

The official guidelines as of Windows 7 were that it's unnecessary to eject them in most circumstances. Since nine times out of ten, they're just used to copy files around (i.e. you aren't actually running apps off of them, or even running apps with open files on them), ejection is completely superfluous.

Just avoid MacAfee like the plague. It's a piece of shit, and the (former) company owner for which it's named is a crazy nutcase. I've never had so many computer problems as I had when I had MacAfee installed. In fact, the only time my computer was ever hacked was when MacAfee was installed — I came home from a

There is nearly zero need to 'eject' your USB drives on Windows 7 and above. The only time you'll run into problems is if you yank it out in the middle of trying to copy a file to it (or from it).

Seems that EVE is heavy on the unrealistically large ships...

It's not about what they believe (who cares) it's about how they spend the money you're giving them... if you don't mind contributing to the persecution of minorities (and even death squads in Africa), then fine. But that's on your conscience (if you have one).

I have a complete lack decent local pizza places. So for me, it's Dominos banana-pepper, green-pepper, onion, and tomato pizzas :-)

McDonald's "Southern Chicken Sandwich" was my go-to replacement... but now with them supporting the Sochi Olympics in anti-Gay Russia, I'm not eating at McDonald's any more. And Wendy's chicken sandwiches suck now. So I'm basically doing without chicken sandwiches at this point.
