"A "witch hunt" implies attacking someone for something that they are not out of fear."

Perhaps you won't be matched with sore-losers like that any more, and it'll be THEIR reputations that suffer... who knows? Let's wait and see how it all plays out.

And you still get a lot of value for the extra money, and the "witch-hunt" (as Carmack put it) was really REALLY over-blown, especially here, you get more value for the online play fee, more capabilities, and the original ideas (most of which no longer apply) were never even remotely as "anti-consumer" as the whiners

As if the ignorant and knee-jerk "I HATE THIS AND THAT" whining was helping anything...

I'm playing it right now, in fact. (Never finished DragonBorn DLC, so doing so now)

I had a love-hate relationship with RAGE. So much potential, great look... but...

You've never been to the South, have you? They're awesome. Hell, you can get a really, really lame version at IHOP pretty much everywhere, but the real thing (Roscoe's) is awesome.

Back? They never appeared anywhere near me in the first place. Not a SINGLE store that I ever found in this entire city ever carried them.

Again, that's cute you think that.

It's cute you think the PS4 Eye is even close to Kinect. Never mind that since it's optional/extra, few developers will bother with it...

You don't KNOW you have no use for it. You haven't tried it. You clearly haven't considered it. Closed minded and willfully ignorant, clinging to the past and ignoring the future.

Most of the 'bullshit' is between the basher's ears, imho. It's why so many are now trying to convince Microsoft to bring back many of the cool features they had planned, but dumped when immature and closed-minded gamers threw their ridiculous internet tantrums.

So you think there's zero value in being able to instantly switch between a game and TV? So, you don't care if you can buy a game online, and while it downloads, you can switch to TV, and the moment it's done, you can get a pop-up notification and swap over to play the game? Or entertain yourself while your remote

It's not just about motion controls. It's about voice commands. It's about being able to see who is talking (from where in the room) for noise-cancellation. It's about bein gable to "log in" to your account/gamertag by just walking into the room. It's about being able to see who is playing with which controller,

I think you mean "less capable" and $100 less. It lacks a ton of features and abilities... and while it "technically" has more memory bandwidth, it remains to be seen if that will make any noticeable difference in the end-game.

I think you're unnecessarily irked.

Larger, quieter fans and better ventilation.

Again, you keep judging this new Kinect by seeming to think it's nothing but the old Kinect. If that were true, and they were bundling Kinect 1.0, I'd totally agree with you. That would be stupid.

A lot of gamers are just short-sighted and closed-minded, you mean.

In-car GPS/Navigation simply works better than ad-on, because it can use dead-reckoning by integrating the speed the tires are going and the way the steering wheel is turning. It can lose contact with GPS satellites in a tunnel or parking garage, and not get lost. I hope to god those don't go away.
