The "Cash for Clunkers" program went a way towards doing that.

I think you need to learn the difference between "actual control" and "the illusion of control".

I've always thought manual transmissions with a clutch were utterly ridiculous and stupid for just one very good reason: Requiring every single one of your four limbs to drive is just over-kill, and leaves zero redundancy. Sprain an ankle, you can't drive. Sprain a wrist, you can't drive. And given the way people

Hardly.

Uh, yeah... Xbox Live blows the PS Network away in almost every way but one. And the PS4 just wants to be the Xbox... it's abandoned everything that made it "playstation" and turned it into just a PC in a box. Bleh. I can't imagine why anyone gives money to evil Sony at this point, let alone for such a crappy piece

You've put the cart before the horse: People mostly don't care or "actively want" Kinect because they don't get what it can do, they don't understand it. They think it's about standing up and waving your arms like a fool, or "dancing games". They're missing what a cool thing it really is, and how cool it can be

It's not just a camera. It's voice commands too. And a lot of other functionality (like being able to tell who is talking, where you are in the room, whether you're paying attention or not, and for two people playing side-by-side... which person is associated with which split-screen without having to swap

You clearly have no clue what you're talking about.

Kinect isn't just motion control. It's also voice control. And the ability for the device to "know who is talking". It's also used to match players to controllers (so, for example, if you and a buddy are playing side by side, and you switch seats, the display auto-switches for you... no more having to swap

Good.

Totally leaning towards Xbox One. I will not be purchasing any PS hardware or software (current gen or this next gen).

Gonna have to disagree with you and agree with Mike Fahey here... going from Xbox to Xbox360 was going from SD to HD. It was VERY noticeable in every way. Play Halo1 against Halo2 or 3, for a perfect example. Night and Day.

Obvious troll is obvious

With no Windows8 or WP8 version mentioned, this game is instantly irrelevant to me.

They haven't been able to get out Half-Life 2:Episode 3 in years and years, let alone Half-Life 3... their projects are routinely VERY late (Episode 1 was released with the promise of Episodes 2 and 3 following at six month intervals... instead we got years before 2 hit, and then 3 just sort of evaporated, still no

I hate third person shooters. I don't understand why anyone prefers them to first person. You can't get into the game, you can't aim, it's awkward as hell positioning the camera... ugh. Save me from EVER having to play another 3rd person game... HATE THEM.

We should be glad it wasn't named "Microsoft Console For Gaming Version 2.2 Consumer Edition Service Pack 4"

If they didn't include it, developers wouldn't bother developing for it.

Give it a chance and give it some time. I loathed Win8 (pulled my hair out in frustration) for a couple of weeks before things started to click. MS does itself no favors by not providing basic help, FAQs, and training on the new OS and UI.

Whether or not you'd call it that, it most certainly is.
