It's not illegal in Seattle?
It's not illegal in Seattle?
Hah! So true :-)
In my experience, the most rabidly anti-gay/homophobic people OBSESSIVELY read news about gay pride parades, etc.
For me it's more than just the Kinect. Built in universal voice commands, gestures, cloud-based computing assist, TV, Skype, multi-tasking, fast-switching, the ability to run some Win8 style apps as well, SmartGlass, integration with my home network... There are a dozen things that the Xbox One offers me over the…
One of these days, we'll see a really good example of a sexy dude cosplay.
That "Ctrl-Enter Sends the Message" is EVIL. Who in the hell wants that? I can't count the times my pinky has accidentally lingered on the control key as I reached for the enter. Before I discovered this option and turned it off, I sent dozens of half-finished emails (Ctrl-V paste, enter, is a very common sequence…
I have an Xbox Slim. Nary a problem. It's a great media device. And I presume MS learned their lesson well, and Xbox One will be fine, even exceptional, in that role. And no, the PS3 (or 4) doesn't really have everything the Xbox One is touting. They figured out how to make a functioning console LONG ago. Not…
PC Settings -> Recovery -> Advanced Startup -> Select the kind of boot you want
But here's the thing... you don't NEED to have a ton of things on your Start Screen (in fact, new apps in 8.1 don't go on the start screen by default). The Start Screen is where you customize to put your favorite apps, your most-used apps, and those apps that provide live tiles you're interested in (dash-board info).
That's not "humans" you're describing. It's Conservatives/Republicans. Bleh.
Why on earth would you want to do this? There's a much better way to get to the appropriate advanced boot menus. And you don't need to perfectly time a keypress to hit it either.
I always use the start screen. Why wouldn't I? I never bothered with Start8, because I recognized immediately that was just a crutch, and an unnecessary one. I have Win8 on a desktop, a laptop (non-touch), and a Surface tablet. I use it on all of them.
Yeah, I just don't see how it can be otherwise. To suggest that I have to switch inputs, means that I have to have some sort of splitter somewhere, so that the cable out that is going to the Xbox One is also going to the TV. Which would be really weird.
That's not my understanding at all. The Xbox One has an IR Blaster port. It's how it turns your cable box on and off and changes the channel. Well, how can it not just also send the commands to do the other things the remote does through the same IR blaster?
"despite its promises of being "all in one," it's not really going to replace anything you already own"
To be fair, in this case, even those older gamers were acting much like whiney 13 year old teen-agers, so it's an easy mistake to make.
Oh Jesus Fucking Christ (rolling eyes). You really are a moronic troll, aren't you?
Oh Jesus Fucking Christ (rolling eyes). You really are a moronic troll, aren't you?
That's not the question you asked. Requiring an internet connection has benefits. That's a fact. They have been outlined in detail. I'm not going to spoon-feed you, because you're just a knee-jerk bashing troll looking for a fight because you love to bitch. The reality is, I'll get an Xbox One (eventually, not…
Please. Many advantages have been outlined. If you haven't seen or heard them yet, it's because you're being willfully blind, like a knee-jerk troll. Do you really need me to spoon feed you? Jesus. Grow up.
