Wow, defensive much? Before the Harmony remote, I had one for the TV, one for the CableBox/DVR, one for the DVD player, one for the Home Theater sound system, and of course the Xbox was manually operated. I had to switch inputs to the correct input on both the TV and the Audio system for things to work.

Look up the Logitech Harmony intelligent remotes. One remote to rule them all. You simply say "I want to watch TV" and it turns on all the things that need to be on (that aren't already on) and turns off anything that isn't necessary (that isn't already off). It's smart. It replaces all your remotes (DVD player,

Sorry, I guess I should be more clear. I have a Logitech Harmony remote... so I don't have to futz with three or four different remotes to do anything. And when I switch to cable TV, the Xbox powers down.

I dunno. There have been times I've wanted to watch a TV show live, but I was playing a game at the time. Being able to quickly pause the game, flip over to the TV show, and after 30 or 60 minutes, being able to just flip back to the game where I was, without having to go through all the startup/shutdown, would be

Dude. Relax. All that stuff is coming at E3.

Really? What was bad about it? I'm with techneticone here... I don't see any disaster. I see a compelling device that is far more interesting than the PS4. We don't know everything yet. And I'm sure there will be more interesting stuff to come.

Yeah, I guess we live in different universes... disaster? On what planet? Nothing but crap? Please. There's a lot of kvetching and bashing over things that don't matter or that aren't "for sure" true. Or that might be horrible in the current world, but might actually make sense in the new one. So... why the rush

So, most games use 8 positions on the "D-Pad" (N/S/E/W as well as NW, NE, SW, SE) ... is that still possible with this thing? If it really can only do 4 positions, that seems a major step back.

I hated the old "Blades" interface. I like the new one just fine. Have no idea why anyone doesn't to be honest. It's simple, easy, convenient... (shrug)

Why do I have to play "exclusives"? Many games are just better. Multi-player is just better. Achievements are better. Xbox Glass is better. Kinect is better (voice commands in Skyrim rocks).

And I haven't been taking you seriously either. You're just a bitter hater wanking with your stupidity. Seriously. At best I'm laughing at you and your stupid inanity. Oh boo hoo, you poor thing. Stamping your feet over something you're not even certain is true or will remain true. Whatever. If you hate Xbox so

No, I just can follow logic. The notion that because of the announcement of a new system that won't even ship for four or more months, you would sell your current system NOW, it's just stupid. It makes no sense, and you've offered up no justification for doing so other than asinine-levels of petulance over something

And I honestly have no idea why anyone would choose a PS3. So I guess we're even. You seriously couldn't may me to own one.

Most of those games don't interest me. What good is an exclusive that I don't care to play? "Little Big Planet" was one of the stupidest and most annoying games I've ever played. Sorry. Xbox wins hands-down in the games it offers, because they're the games I ACTUALLY WANT TO PLAY, and they're vastly superior on

1) It provides additional challenge that extends gameplay, by providing motivation (or clues) for digging around in fun corners of the game, or challenging yourself to hit certain milestones.

The old Xbox (non-slim) hasn't been on sale for years. Your condemnation was universal, not specific to the old box. Which is why I replied. Because "Xbox" right now MEANS the Xbox slim.

You make no sense at all. You don't honestly know enough about the next generation to make a judgment, and selling your system now doesn't gain you anything... you just lose your current ability to play. There's no "new" system to buy yet. So you're just being a drama queen. Or a troll. Those are the only

Yup. Still a drama-queen. Or a troll. Seriously, you see this and stamp your little feet and sell your current XBox360, even though that has NOTHING to do with the Xbox One? You're either insane or stupid. But regardless, you're definitely a drama-queen or a troll. And you look and sound ridiculously silly.

I don't know what you're talking about. The Xbox Slim is VERY well built, and has been completely trouble-free since I bought it (when it came out).

"I am selling my Xbox today"
