Really? Because you couldn't pay me to buy, let alone use, a PS3. A friend has one, and it just sucks. Hate the UI with a passion. And the games? Bleh. Very little I like, and what I do (Fallout3, Skyrim) just suck on that platform.

Exactly. This is a criminal omission. Borderlands 2 was amazing.

Obviously missing is Borderlands 2. Easily my favorite game of the last year (Far Cry 3 is a very close second).

iTunes on Windows is an abomination. Quicktime on Windows is a close second. They both suck so much that I abandoned the iPhone entirely just in order to never have to install, or use iTunes/QuickTime EVER AGAIN. I will never go back to iPhone because these two apps suck so damn much. If my current Nokia920/WP8

I'm pretty sensitive to homophobic content. This didn't phase me at all.

I never said there wasn't a learning curve. In fact, above, I explicitly said that there was about two weeks of frustration and annoyance until it "clicked".

Thank you for that. I kinda wish I had gone directly to Ooma, but I didn't hear about them until just after I switched to Vonage. I'll give strong consideration to changing in the near future. Vonage isn't adding any new features, and is still way behind AT&T's defunct "CallVantage" all these years later.

What I find ludicrous is people who don't really grasp what they're talking about, and rant about things that aren't true.

Nobody remembers that people bitched up a storm about the "stupid" start button back when Win95 first premiered. Then, they complained that it made no sense at all to click "Start" in order to "shutdown"... now they bitch that "Shutdown" is no longer in the "Start menu". Oy.

No, the main feature is the ability to have a better touch experience going forward.

And it's not really so much that there are new ways to interact, but that most people actively refuse to learn anything new, even though they're bothering to upgrade to a new product.

I disagree with the premise: Yes, using XP in this day and age is a bad thing. On many levels. Just stop. Either upgrade, or recycle the laptop and get a new one with a more modern, secure OS on it (like Win7 or Win8).

Who picked the men? A straight guy? Yeesh.

What bad ending? It was a great ending... quite satisfying.

Yup! I play co-op with a friend once a week (so we only just recently finished the base game plus all of the current DLC)... we're actually champing at the bit to get this next DLC. Meanwhile, I'm still playing a few characters solo.

Yes

Couldn't disagree with you more, actually. I thought the ending of the main story was very satisfying, and the entire main game was amazing, start to finish.

On that front, I just downloaded the new Beta version of their new Facebook app. I'll report back if it's any better (and I'll be providing a ton of feedback I'm sure). But it's obvious they know the current app isn't good enough...

Thanks. I wanted to know specifics because I wanted to see if I could duplicate them or not (since I can't duplicate any of your photography issues). You're right, that does sound horrible. I'll pick a podcast and see what happens. but I can't imagine that experience not getting a lot better with future updates
