Off topic, but is there a reason the release of the RAGE DLC got so little coverage? No big review of it here, few to be found elsewhere... it just sorta sank out of sight. Why is that? It's a pretty decent DLC, even if it is almost a year late :-)

Agreed. Compared to Borderlands 2, no other game comes close, imho.

Sounds great if you're a morning person. I emphatically am not. If I let my body go to its natural cycle, I sleep 4am to Noon. I'm a NIGHT person. It's been this way since I was a kid. I can wake up early one day, or maybe two in a row... but if I do any more, I literally get physically ill, and cannot function

I've tried to use HandBrake. I've literally had a ZERO success rate with it. Not once have I ever gotten it to successfully rip a DVD for me. Ever. On several different PCs, several different DVDs attempted.

If only Disney cared about that. They don't make nearly as much from foreign showings, and it cratered here at home, grossing less than a third of the movie's cost (not including marketing). There is zero chance of a sequel even though I desperately wish there would be one. I think it'd make a great series.

I thought it was questionable for the first couple of episodes, but I'm actually really liking it now. It's way better than I thought it would be, though it's not anywhere near "Vampire Diaries" good yet.

You're definitely not the only one. I really enjoyed John Carter. I thought it was very entertaining, and remarkably better than I had been lead to believe. It sucks that it flopped at the box office, and that there won't be a sequel.

I agree. John Carter was damn enjoyable. It sucks that it flopped at the box office, and it sucks even more that there won't be a sequel.

Okay... we... require an over-ride to take them (an annoying "are you sure" type thing). And all online sharing should ban vertical videos, so people who DO take them don't get to inflict them on the rest of us.

The Nokia 920 already has a couple of these... some manual settings (like white balance), and the ability to make GIFs on-the-spot. I also think panoramas (which MOST phones now do) should be standard on ALL camera phones. And don't forget "image stabilization".

You're just wrong (or a grotesquely over-acting drama-queen).

No, I use it on the desktop and it's a pretty great desktop OS. I also have a surface tablet. Windows 8 on both (essentially), but I use Metro on the surface, and rarely on the Desktop. Windows 8 works well in both places. It takes a bit of tweaking and configuring to make it shine on the desktop, but it's not
