Oh, if only!!

I hope Surface and Windows Phone 8 take off with consumers in 2013.

This is yet another reason I'm glad I switched from an iPhone to a Nokia 920. Not just a better screen and camera... but if I drop this thing, I don't have to worry about it. I worry more about what I drop it on :-)

But it is strongly evocative of that symbol, to the point of being "obvious", and is therefore at best a tone-deaf choice, if not downright offensive.
