Yeah, people with a need to diminish others’ accomplishments (that they could never reproduce) by using the word ‘technical’ as a pejorative certainly abound.

I doubt this is possible with a living model. Photography is what makes it possible to have a model that remains still enough to capture the incredibly small details. We probably would have much better idea of historical figures’ appearances via portraiture through the ages if it were easy to do with a living model.

Well, it’s not necessarily something developers have to do— Virtual Desktop has shown that just making the desktop accessible using HMDs is a compelling experience. It’s ridiculous that Oculus and Vive don’t have native support for viewing the desktop and running non-VR programs.

It’s also very dangerous for building support for the VR industry in general.
