To clarify, the star is largely for the Pratchett quote, but also for reminding me how much I hated those two words when I had to learn them in high school french 15 years ago.

People who exercise frequently to maintain very fit bodies but otherwise never participate in an actual sport are often referred to as athletic, so I don’t see why not.
So what you’re saying is that pro gamers are masters of telekinesis and operate their controllers with their minds.
Grave of the Fireflies taught me a lot about managing depression. It should be required viewing in high school, especially in the US/West, to remind kids that both sides of the war inflicted unimaginable suffering.
A piece of travel advice that is a pretty good idea anywhere you go but is especially helpful in Japan: Carry a bag in your pocket or pack that you can use for trash.
My takeaway here is that if it’s a Pixar movie, it’s probably still worth watching even if it’s bad compared to other Pixar movies.
True! That’s why the classic horror games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Fatal Frame were so terrifying. More recently, Five Nights at Freddie’s, Amnesia, and Alien: Isolation— all games where the suspense and horror is magnified by the limitations of your character.
There were genuinely creepy moments in the first FEAR. I fear you may be relying a bit too much on memories of 2 and 3 which were nothing but jump scares and aimless plot.
I loved it too. I like to think that this and a few other games that experimented with using two N64 controllers was one of the main reasons the second analog stick became standard on modern controllers.
That’s basically what you see on the map at the beginning of the game once you get to the main gameplay loop. It’s also the default filter setting, which has a couple things (not very much) filtered out and is not at all helpful for actually finding things you need to do.
I want to find this funny, but I keep thinking about actual, real bats and the very actual, real crisis they are undergoing in North America with white nose syndrome.
Actually, the best trick for this lap is to lay off the afterburner. Same thing with the last section of the race: lay off the afterburners until you know which side the blocks are coming down on and while you’re maneuvering to avoid them.
I hope you figure out your issues! It’s super important for people who ARE having genuine issues to be working with tech support and sending them info so they have all the data they need to solve the problems.
That’s exactly the experience I had with the game until I figured out which settings to turn off. Game still looks great and plays great even though I don’t get swirly smoke or floaty paper.
I think most of us that aren’t having any problems playing the game on PC (because we messed with the settings, not because we didn’t find configurations that didn’t work well) are too busy playing the game to tell people the damn game is fine on PC, so all anyone hears is the vocal minority of people who are having…
I don’t know what the hell he’s talking about. I’ve got a 770 and I have the Gameworks options in my menu. It’s unplayable with fog turned on whenever the batmobile is around, but I can turn it on if I want.
If we’re being pedantic, judging by the lava flow he’s standing on, he probably doesn’t have feet either. Those have to be bionic or something.
I just turned off interactive smoke/fog and paper and everything was hunky dory. Just like how Witcher 3’s hairworks tanks performance, not that big a deal.
Gasp! Nier 2! I got so obsessed with farming that I forgot to finish the first game. :X
It could lead to new sales via participation perks earned over the course of the event. xx% off coupons, DLC sales, stuff like that would absolutely lead to revenue.
