It just gets less and less appealing. By the end of it, the human eyes thing just detracts from the video's story— it might almost have been interesting or bearable without the human eyes. But that's being absurdly generous. There's pretty much no redeemable feature to that video except cats— and it ruins the

The voice acting really is awful, and the Wii doesn't do it any favors by having crappy options for outputting audio. I don't love the combat system either, but it's one of those games I got pretty cheap and fully intend to give it another chance down the line.

You'd be surprised how many people you'll run into with passable English in Japan. It's not *that* bad. On my first visit I met a cabby who had pretty good English, and I asked him where he learned it. He said he learned it watching movies (which is pretty amazing if it's true, because trying to speak a language is

During the two times I visited Japan, I encountered all of these things— and absolutely none of them were an issue. If you go to a foreign country and they don't do things the way they do them in your own country, you do yourself a BIG favor by looking at cultural differences as something interesting to learn about

It's like those people who fibrillate themselves in order to get as close to death as possible.

Not exactly a great chess player myself, but can anyone tell me why Gates decided to castle? I didn't see any threats to his king.

Bam Bam was a racial stereotype?

As much as I love the idea of the bacon and steak flavors, what I really want to experience is the goma shio (sesame salt, best rice flavoring ever) and coconut curry flavors.

I wish I was royalty so I could sue King for their confusing and deceptive name.

The only appropriate word here is "glorious."

Good to see "AWPing" is still a thing after more than 10 years. (Not to diminish those kills— they're still impressive even if any other gun would have required a headshot.)

Well, the folks IN the video aren't confusing parkour and free-running. Can't say the same for the ones editing it.

"from the 80s"— the way the sentence is put together leaves open the possibility that it refers to both items in the list.

Yeah, the stunts were pretty neat, but the physics are atrocious. And I'm sorry, but having the cars fly around as though the gravity's less than 1/10th of a G once the wheels leave the ground just doesn't make the stunts more interesting.
