@Hello Mister Walrus: You live here. Its supposed to illicit an emotional response from seeing your world in flames.

Christ that seems really really awesome. Too bad technology won't look like that in 17 years.

@RtFusion: I was thinking the same thing.

@wjbean: Well I am still in the same boat as you in the fact we can't develop our own technologies and discoveries.

@wjbean: Since ARPA invented networking computers why didn't they develop the Internet?

@Boom-Chicka-Ah: The Vatican has already admitted to the possibility of life on other planets and that wouldn't be a problem to fit into their religion if such a discovery was made.

A flaw of capitalism places money over research. But what other systems prioritize research as much?

I saw this once in my life. Kind of crazy hearing about it so often and then actually seeing it. A spectacle of nature, an out-of-the-ordinary event.

Is SGU finally growing into a good show a little like Atlantis?

@Yamato: I was fine until I read that. Now I must pace around in circles to shake the thought from my mind.

Its not the money that hurts me.

Its still the shadows and lighting that give it away. Textures have been nailed down, with tessellation models should be next. But even with SSAO and various shadowing techniques its always what gives it away.

@Death_By_SnuSnu: That means there is hope for life almost everywhere, especially places like Titian. Gives a stronger argument to sending a dedicated probe to that small moon.

Why do they do this? I just don't know what to do now.

From what I hear, its going to be a good movie. Which is always good and seemingly rare for a franchise of this scope.

@lucasway89: With Apple's store, they made it seem like all apps had to go through the store in a way very similar to the iPhone. With Microsoft's approach being much more in line with Steam where its a nice place to get apps but you don't need to use it.

@SirNinja: Obligatory Episode 3 comment where I point out that 3-5 hours is considered long now a days.

@slowurroll: In the future where everyone is super, no one will be.

Well hopefully this will trend the way of Fallout 3 where the DLCs get better with each release. I'll pass judgement for this until more information is released.
