I'm still surprised either you guys haven't picked up the cues that this car has a lot of Miura S style points or just don't think it's worth mentioning.

Bonnet vents, and crease down the centerline of the bonnet, the side vent styling, window profile and those wheels are a nice outline of the old ones on the S.

Great story. You should do a piece on the 4 and 5 axis horizontal boring mills Toshiba illegally sold to the Russkies through Kongsberg in the 80s, specifically for making propellers. It's hard to find any good info on the scandal.

PLEASE STOP CALLING THEM "DRONES"!

These aircraft are still piloted. They have automatic functionality, but they are never operated autonomously. You discredit the efforts of the operating crew every time you use a word that infers that these don't require the same amount of skill as any other aircraft with a similar

You obviously don't know a lot about flying.

That's like saying a car built with airbags is not a safe car to drive.

Just like Volvo's with all their safety equipment are unsafe to drive.

I had never seen anything but scaled composites use the circular windows. Every other glider I've seen has had the fighter jet style canopy. As others pointed out its from Windward but convergent design makes them look alike. Its still a beautifully minimalist graceful design.

The F-14 IS a 9g capable fighter. The lowered official limits had a lot to do with age of the aircraft and Navy wanting to maximize the life of the airframe.

This is why I bought a MS3. Got room for the family and some things while still being fun

LMAO. Not sure if serious or satire. Equally funny either way.

Yes, actually. You missed quite a lot.

You're seriously stating, for the record, that an aircraft designed in the fifties would stand any chance against the F-35. I just want to make sure you're being clear.

Wait...is your real name Pierre Sprey?

He wrote a thousand plus word, well researched article. You commented three improperly punctuated and grammatically incorrect sentences. Nuff said.

Henry Hillaker designed the F-16. Sprey was a pentagon bureaucrat coat-tailing on John Boyd's opinions.

He wasn't the only one who "designed it," though. There was a group of people and he was involved. The guy is smart and makes good points but he's just being dogmatic and lamenting the death of pure air to air knife fighting.

In Pierre's world, any aircraft that was not designed by Pierre Sprey is a piece of shit.
