This is honestly the most minimal thing you could ask for in these circumstances and the fact that it needs to be requested at all is terrible.

I have used my Kinja supplied superpower “Dismissal” and forced a post by someone named Ogre to be forever lost in the greys.

I finally had time to read the Upload VR post by the devs (linked by Cecilia) and noted that they didn’t just tweak their game to address the issue, they’ve also made the code publicly available so that others can customize the feature to add into their own games as well.

Hey, how do the greys on here work these days anyway? Is it on a per article basis, because that what it seems to be now that I think about it.

Well, maybe personal force fields will eventually become a reality.

I haven’t experienced it yet either, except for the “menu” area (I assume) where you choose which software to run. The company owner brought his equipment in one day and I thought it was neat but also “Hey... Uh, I have a ton of work to get done because this is web dev and you expect results.”

HA HA! Great reference!

The word “think” is probably giving them too much credit.

Completely, with adjustments:

Don’t you just love how they dismiss it as ridiculous while people everywhere are penning articles/blogs etc. about how realistic and engrossing their VR experiences have been?

This is an absolutely fantastic response from the developers, and it’s great that they already had a framework in place that they could simply improve upon to combat the issue. It’s specifically great that they went beyond just extending the shield and, essentially, provided a kick player function as well - It

Yo. Ben Kuchera, is that you.

I love you too. Keep being a sweetheart.

Lol. Didn’t read this at all. Good job on putting in the effort, though, Sport.

Are you confused about how the internet works? You sound like you are quite confused about how the internet works.

“I am saying tough shit if they miss out on these types of things because they do not appear on major news sites.”

No, not ALL people who would want to play these games know that they exist or where to get them. Not all people who would be interested in things like this have the time or energy to keep track of various translation projects, especially when it’s of games that they barely knew existed in the first place.

There there, fellow non-desktop person. Hopefully we are both able to grab a copy later today.
