The Oculus itself works very well with SteamVR. You basically make one change in the Oculus settings to allow non-oculus systems to use the headset, then calibrate it on SteamVR (takes thirty seconds) and you’re done.

“LibreVR, currently in alpha, is “a proof-of-concept compatibility layer between the Oculus SDK and OpenVR”. It basically means that, in theory, any game made specifically for the Oculus Rift using either Unity or Unreal Engine 4 can now also work on the Vive.”

I agree; it’s certainly worth mentioning in regards to what is expected. I just feel as though a certain group of hardcore PC users tend to run wild with situations like this, when the reality is more likely that this is (unfortunately) the norm. I don’t think that’s necessarily acceptable, mind you; just that it

a more realistic setting wouldn’t have been enough to make that game bearable and you know it!

As soon as it ships. 500 dollars for a PCI-E slot, a power supply and a USB hub?

It was about time.

Big thank you to Sony for finally adding this and a big F-you to those who rationalized the decision to keep this feature absent for so long. My PS4 will be getting a lot more use now.

Why would they? People aren’t exactly lining up to play MMOs like they used to, and mmo’s are a lot of budget and hassle. Meanwhile players seem pretty happy with games like Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone and those titles are paying off.

This must be the first time a Honda Ridgeline has been referred to as a bro truck for any reason.

Gail Sheehy is writing for Jezebel now?! Great heavens, that’s a helluva coup. Wonderful, informative piece, thank you for it.

When I bought a pair of $80 Alpinestars gloves, my Harley riding friend made fun of me. Fast forward 2 weeks and I low-side on some gravel coming out of a turn. I was doing a relatively slow 25-30 mph and the abrasion on my knuckles were enough to wear through the carbon fiber knuckle guard and 3 layers of leather. I

Whatever man. Having a bunch or really insanely nice and cool cars doesn’t mean you have a small dick. I’m sick of this shit. I drive a really awful car and my dick is small and bad.

Like others have said, it depends on the shoe, and also somewhat on the pedal set-up/layout. A basic lower, wider heeled shoe like a standard womens’ dress work shoe with a 2-3 in heel can give a right-foot braker a nice pivot point for your foot, in an odd way.

If you think a Chevette would reliably get you from A to B, then you didn't own back in the day.

Where I live, 23hp merging onto the freeway gets you a 4000lb suppository in the form of a soccer mom paying attention to literally everything else on the planet that isn’t the road 100' in front of her bumper.
