Mazda- They’re the underdog and I root for them. have owned 2 so far. Better interiors , better performance and more value for money in features than the mainstream competition any day (although some tech is lacking). Love their 2.5 Turbo best inline 4 outside a BMW B48
That the Miata is a girls car/hairdressers car.
That Tesla is not an “American” car. I think some are so anti-electric that anything other than a gas powered big 3 car isnt American to them?
Thank you for the reply Bradley and making sure that communication is clear and open here on Jalopnik. On July 11th of last year I posted a QOTD comment and got 24 upvotes here on the site (which I would feel is a lot compared to others) and @owen_bellwood choose the same car/answer from someone on Twitter I think or…
It’s just luck of the draw, I guess? There were over 100 comments on this one and I just picked 15 that I saw and liked. I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you. I don’t think there is a bias against you.
S-Class Pillar-less Coupe. Timeless style, luxury with a tiny hint of sporty intentions. These big body Mercedes coupes age so well like fine wine.
Electric, open air, cyclops offset tri headlight, brass looking vents, wire mesh wheels, the steampunk feeling Morgan EV3 concept was a perfect concept.
The idea of a motorcycle type feel in a car seated position like go-cart always appealed to me. So when the Volkswagen GX3 concept came out I was all for it.
Suzuki GSX-R/4 concept, it looked so futuristic especially with its “shocks” showing on the hood and trunk. I love me some open air roadsters.
I didnt have this version, only a basic 4 door JLX hard top. It was very basic, manual shift, ladder frame, real transfer cases with 4L 4H options, and I think the wondows were hand crankers. Great little motor, no issues in 135,000 miles. Sort of regret selling it.
See: Everything is important.
It’s why you pay Singer lol
Man these are all subjectively good cars (keyword subjective). I happen to like the 2002 Thunderbird because of that styling, if anything it made the SSR look like complete and unadulterated overkill.
How do they manage to make it so retro yet modern at the same time? Is it the bumpers, wheels. height? What am I missing?
No KIA/Hyundais, as the engines will go kablooey.
I didnt know that jccalhoun this is good to know. I agree.
Not just that TD is the best car movie, it’s the best movie in the series after the first...which is an admittedly low bar. It has a tight and simple story, executed well, fun set pieces that aren’t stupid, it’s funny, and it’s acted (not well...but...acted).
I’m a fan of Tokyo Drift but Lucas Black is a Christian Conservative who has posted anti=trans stuff so I’m ok with him not getting a bigger part in the films
It looks like, it uses one of Fiat’s “MultiAir” engines:
