Got to love its best in class 5cyl engine. “Tuners” burning out a piston to try and make that 600hp on a stock block. Engine the weight of a ford mod motor but only 3l and 6cyl.

I personally hate those stupid videos “Is that, is that, is that a Supra !!??”
Correct. Add the C5 Corvette to cars that beat the Supra TT in the late 90s. Moreover, if you through tens of thousands of dollars modifying a C5 - you can make it stupid fast, too.
Not going to lie, I’ve hated the look of the front clip since day 1 and my opinion has never wavered. I appreciate what tuners have been able to do with them however the looks of the prior gen was so much better.
this is a good take. Supra is still a great car it is just overrated and put up on a pedestal because some engineers at a tuning house spent millions and millions of dollars of R&D to mofify the tits out of it to make it actually great.
4th Gen Supra. During its time known as a heavy GT (Grand Touring) car and mostly overlooked compared to the FD and NSX and some may even say GT3000 at the time. Only when they got more affordable and you started seeing 1000HP tunes did they start picking up in value and people started wanting them. F&F fame also…
miata
Roadsters are probably waiting for smaller, lighter battery tech. Or for people to accept less range. My Model 3 P is a bit of a porker at 4080 lbs vs. the Miata at 2300. As for the four seater sedans, I really don’t know. Maybe the market isn’t there yet? A lot of the EVs out there are on SUV platforms, because…
Everyone’s chasing the easy money right now, which is why there are a dozen plus different takes on “compact to midsize BEV crossover in the $40-60k range.” The ones that aren’t going mainstream are going for the easy money in the luxury market, which is six figure high end sedan.
Give it a few years and maybe some of…
Found the drone trying to convince us everything is alright, and this story couldn’t possibly be true.
Tokyo Drift (to ME the only “real” car centric F&F movie.) the Hans Hyundai Diss:
The new Acura Integra. If you know, you know.
I don’t daily my RF, but I drive it a lot on the summer. I just leave a ton of space and assume everyone is trying to kill me. And people absolutely do not see the car. Make sure to drive before you buy. The blind spot when you are looking out to the right side to change lanes is significant.
I quit driving my Caterham to work because of this. It’s dark when I leave which does not help. Granted, a Caterham is absolutely tiny even compared to a Miata and it nowhere near as safe. I’m going to replace it with a Atom, which is still tiny but far safer.
Not to mention the number of stupidly big pickups we have here in Carolina...
My first day of NC Miata ownership, a guy in a Ram almost drove into me in a grocery store parking lot. Still, that was the only incident in years. Don’t let your fears of what might happen keep you from enjoying life. Buy the Miata.
Saw an Elise in traffic today, can confirm.
Saw a Lotus Exige on the on I-77 north of Charlotte last week and I had seen them before, but usually by themselves on a country road, not with a lot of urban interstate traffic. Holy F is it small and I would be pooping pants if I were driving that thing in Charlotte traffic.
Exactly the same reason I’ve decided not to pursue my motorcycle license despite having had one in Australia.
This article really relates to me as I have been seriously considering a new 2023 Miata RF and the size of cars around me is pretty scary since they are mostly SUVs. Even compared to CUVs like Rav4s or CRVs the Miata is pretty small and low. I am not even sure if they can see it if in a blind spot. I drive on the…
