I had a 78 F-150 that had a ‘Turn me over if you can read this’ bumper sticker. I rolled it while towing my boat (boat OK, truck totaled). Every emergency worker that responded wanted a picture of them stranding next to the sticker.

I am not a jeep owner however based upon how many of these rear tire covers I have seen I dont know if Jeep owners actually care about this. I think they know that their jeep can and may roll over at any time.

Here is my problem as a fan of both Toyota and BMW. Also as former owner of a Lexus and a BMW. They both have their own traits. However also downsides.

Oh, so THIS is how it was supposed to look. That actually looks not bad unlike this listing.

Those were the last of the V8 interceptors. They haven’t used those since Ford shut its factories and Holden closed down.

Wait...WHAT??? I thought Australian police drove these? Have I been told lies my entire life about Australia!?!?

I... don't hate the complete kit. Actually, I kind of like it.

Star for the pics

Here are some other pics. I think it can look pretty decent with the right ride height and wheels and tires if the whole kit is on it.

This is a mish-mash of aftermarket parts and makes the Pitcrew kit IMO not look right. The tail lights on this car are Garage Vary and it looks like only the front end and maybe the fender flares from the Pitcrew kit was put on it. Here is what is supposed to look like which I think looks much better as a whole kit.

Skirts were popular for a while on GM cars in the 70s. I remember them being a PITA to remove and replace when I was working as a service writer...we sold tires and those things rusted or the clips that held them on would break when the tire busters had to deal with them.

I think modern aerodynamics have found air-skirts to be more effective for less money. All they do is add venting just before the wheel, forcing air around the air pocket created around the wheel.

Hey @AudiB5Hawaii... Well, you´re probably right about the rear, though ... I really like covers like that. The problem with the front is snow, usually. There was a Saab back in the day (... and probably other cars as well...) with covered front wheels and they got stuck with snow and were kind of uncontrollable.

Right? See 3rd pic in ciscokidinsf’s post. Looks like a torchinsky special, all grown up.

Because they would make the car too sexy and that was banned in the US due to the potential driver distraction.

That Mercedes + house = to me perfect!! Beautiful photo!

I was an Acura fan initially, but their styling and lack of genuine luxury and performance versus their competitors got me bored with them. As their styling ran further off the rails, I was actively repulsed with the “Beak Era” being the pinnacle of that. I hardly think you’re alone in this.

I dont know if its the angle of the photo or if they redesigned the shape of the grille but the front end looks much better on this image. I used to LOVE Acuras in the 80's and 90s but ever since the “beak” era for some reason due to its just odd looks I just never considered Acuras. Not sure if others feel this way.

What if you color match the side blade thing? Oh Never mind...
