Well put. When you described it as beater I thought sub $1500. Yeah I suppose if I was a seasoned millionaire, a $100k car would not be much to me.

I'm sure its a bit easier to allow yourself to go full-go when you are in a beater vs a 100 thousand dollar supercar.

Wrong. Interchangeable lenses, so that makes more than one difference. But also the IQ, especially in low light. As well as video quality and the ability to shoot different fps and quality. And so many other things.

I just got an NEX. Sold my Canon dSLR, because I just wasn't keen on carrying a camera bag. The NEX seems to be a happy medium. Still not fitting in my pocket with the kit lenses on it, but if I throw a pancake on it I think it will. The IQ and DoF mimic my previous Canon.

I just got a Sony NEX 5R, so these features are no longer a need for me. Full APS-C sensor in a package about as thick as 2 iPhones. Ofcourse adding the lens makes it bigger.

Keep fireworks away from me on New Years. Last year I shot all the cars on the street with a roman candle. Including my own. No harm done...because none of the car owners saw me do it hehe.

So around 2018 the price of 4k sets will have come down enough so I can own one. Awesome!

Still running iOS 5 on my iPad2 because of Hackulous. Really the only time I would buy a high priced iPad game was after testing out the pirated version to see if it would get its use. Still going to hold off upgrading the iOS until I am forced.

My friend has one of these, I'll admit, it is cool. But the thought of using it as a cell phone in certain situations still seems odd. Mainly, using it in public anyone within 5-10 feet from you can see everything you are doing on your phone.

I prefer Nike brand sweatpants too. At $40 I consider them very pricey for sweatpants..so the ones being recommended here are just bullshit.
