You know that NFL paychecks are not the lottery, right? He was, I’m sure, spending money all along - both wisely and otherwise - and possibly doing so with the expectation that he’d be playing for 10+ years. In other words, the idea that he saved up most of all of his NFL earnings is absurd.

The implication that Blake is retiring from the NFL because of the money he’s making selling Pokémon cards seems a little baseless. He has over $25M in career earnings from playing in the NFL.
