This was my take, and I can’t say I wasn’t expecting it to be a bad movie, after reading about all the behind-the-scenes drama.

My PS4's HDMI connection went out, and I haven’t bothered to go get it fixed because I can still game on my PC.

Yeah, this current gen is the first time I decided to skip consoles, so far at least. I’ve thought about getting a PS5, but at this point I’d rather keep upgrading my PC even if it means I have to wait for Sony’s first party titles.

As far as I can tell, this remake was so in-depth that it was basically making a new game. What that means to me is they will likely release this updated version on PC in 2024 or 2025..

IIRC, I think you could turn off the controller speaker from the system menu, but maybe you had to go into game menus to change a setting to play the audio from the TV instead of the controller.
