It’s so crazy to me they way republicans right now are trying use debate about free speech (on Twitter) to sway public opinion in their favor, meanwhile they’re trying to limit speech about gay people, about what can be taught in history classes, etc.

Wouldn’t it be ironic and fun if the right’s efforts to “free speech*” led to the death of social media as we currently know it?

I’m just going to state how very annoying the whole thing is where they had us opt-in for the beta like a month ago, but then this week, you also had to see the notification in time that beta access required watching four hours of one of the officially selected Overwatch 2 Beta streamers on twitch.

Fuck Johnny Depp, he’s been too drunk/drug-addled over the past (let’s be honest) ten years or so to even know very much at all about his behavior in Amber Heard’s presence.

I think he wouldn’t go back under the current circumstances of Elon’s new ownership, because the story would be Musk using his power to bestow a new Twitter account on him.

1. Musk is not a free speech absolutist. If you really believe that, I have a bridge to sell you in the metaverse.
