Yup. Titanfall was the best new shooter in a long time when it came out, and EA/Respawn mishandled a few aspects of that game, but Titanfall 2 is fantastic all-around. It really refined what was so great about the first game.

I have made several recipes from Binging with Babish, and they’ve all been great. I’m making his version of Chicken Kiev inspired by Mad Men tonight.

YES, they should never work again, if all they’re going to do is find ways to collect massive paychecks for promoting fascism.

It’s not so much about him as it is about a pattern of corporate behavior that suggests those who have real power within Acti/Blizz prefer a climate of fascism and authoritarianism. Hence, collecting a group of nefarious individuals (i.e. a former torture apologist being responsible for ‘compliance’ seems dubious)

MBS now has a minority stake in Blizzard, and I’m just watching them make more hires that suggest they’ll be helping cover up the murder of journalists in a year or two.

PAX became superspreader events before COVID was even a thing, why were they even trying to plan an in-person event?

The same exact cards sold back then, connected to ACNL rather than ACNH, which wasn’t out at the time.

Technically, Target was restricting these cards to web/app orders only, but also their site mostly got crippled this morning due to people searching for the cards, and my nearest Target just sold me two packs with no hassle when I went in.

My brother had the entire set of Constructicons, or whatever the collection of contruction vehicle transformers were called. They assembled into one bigger robot, which was cool.

I was into Magic when I was a kid, but I wound up being more into video games, so I gave it up at some point. It was always fun, though, and it did involve a little more imagination.

It’s got kind of a ‘baby yoda’ vibe.

Only tangentially related, but if you liked the old Bomberman games, you should try Brawl Stars on mobile. It’s like Bomberman meets Overwatch, and it’s great if you want some team-based shooter action on the go.

Wow, I had no idea the Natural 4000 had been discontinued. I got one a couple years ago because I always preferred the ergo layout to regular keyboards, for work and gaming. I might have to try this one in the article for the mechanical switches.

I got a 27" 4K monitor for my ‘gaming’ PC when I built it a few years ago, and I run less resource-hoggy games in 4K, but I do run a number of games at 1440p.

I was literally scrolling down here to post my own comment saying, “No shit.”

I just read the article about the teenage bus drivers. That’s insane.

I nearly accepted a job in Hawaii, and when I was researching living there, I discovered vog—volcano fog—that makes the air decidedly unclean on a regular basis.

Chris Pine’s dad is famous actor Robert Pine..

This one nails it. Ben Shapiro is nothing more than one of many earthly avatars of logical fallacy and ‘whataboutism.’
