For those of us who can’t wire our places this way, TP-Link powerline ethernet adapters are a good alternative. They do exactly what it sounds like: plug into an outlet and run ethernet through the wiring in your house. This is the setup I have, and it works great.

This is true, but the One S does have a 4K upscaling feature. All 4K TV’s upscale 1080P (or lower) content, but some TV’s have better upscaling than others. Depending on your TV, there may be a noticeable visual improvement using the console’s native upscaling, as opposed to leaving it up to the TV.

I’m pretty sure he means he has a copy of the original ROM, and the integrity there is good. He’s just not releasing that version. The version he did release contains ‘real alterations’ which he says are harmless.
