Yeah, the console-only tech test.. Most likely because the PC version wasn’t quite as polished as they’d have liked at that point. Still lame they left their PC fans out in the cold on that. I played the first one on PC, but I can’t run the second one on my current PC.

You might be able to get it working for pretty cheap. I have an old macbook pro that stopped booting up at some point, but I did some googling and figured out that the only problem was the HDD cable failed. I bought a new one from Amazon, installed it myself, and it came right back to life.

Did you get to play the beta at all? I was pretty sure I was in from the moment this game was announced, but the MP beta was sick, as far as I am concerned. I hear the campaign is great, too.

Haha, yeah, various circumstances have prevented me from being able to take Friday off—important presentation for client, etc—but fortunately at least a couple of my bosses are gamers, too, so they’ll understand if I’m dragging tomorrow . . . as long as I sound good during the client meeting.

I’d be fine with that, too. I don’t even think I’d have a problem with them charging for cosmetic stuff in MP—as long as most of the cosmetic stuff can also be unlocked through playing the game.
