MIND. BLOWN. I never realized Simon = gorgeous Dweezil. And I didn't know he and Molly Ringwald were a thaaang back in the day!! You have totally made my millennium.

Right?! Someone needs to tell Annie Potts she's so much more than that, before it's too late and she goes on to do something ridiculous like star in the TV remake of Dangerous Minds.

Yay for movie twinship! Seen anything else good lately?

Just watched Pretty in Pink with my husband, who had never seen it. I LOVED this movie in its heyday....but after re-watching...uhhhh shouldn't Andie have ended up with Duckie?? Isn't her rich boyfriend a total asshole for randomly deciding to ignore her when he faces peer pressure from his friends??? WHAT ABOUT

Right?!!?

You're kidding, right? OTTAWA!

Thanks, friend. I don't take it personally - because obviously Trolly doesn't know me - but even with all my years of internet usage, I'm always shocked when I read something that is so obviously intended to hurt/upset a stranger, and so utterly pointless. But I choose to focus on the kind and cool ones, like you!

Not trying to be a downer or judgmental to anyone but myself, but all those women seem to be in pretty good shape, and I would be mortified to bare my back rolls and potbelly in front of them and the passersby. So this article, or at least the accompanying photo, feels more depressing than liberating for me - but

I'm fairly certain that this is the area called Bank in London (sort of like the Wall Street of London). I live here, and I recognized it as soon as I looked at the pic. I tried to find an image that would depict the whole scene, but no luck, so here's the building with the six pillars and triangular rooftop. Right

Your cats are SO.CUTE. They are clearly best friends. Love it!

My husband isn't so keen as he isn't familiar with the book and isn't into matching names. Although I could suggest Jem and he would probably be none the wiser...

LOVE the Boo Radley idea, but my husband hasn't read To Kill a Mockingbird (I know!) and so he isn't so into it. We haven't held them much yet since we're letting them settle in for the first couple of days, but hopefully a lightbulb will go off when then time comes. Thanks for your advice!

She's short haired and white, with a random brown patch that is almost a perfect square. She's also verrry timid, which I know is common for newbie guinehs, but she is almost ridiculously so in comparison to her sis.

Posted this on groupthink, but giving it a go here as well: Hubby and I got two beautiful baby guinea pigs today! We wanted a kitteh, but there is a "no pets" clause in our lease. Finally, we managed to get our landlords to relent and let us have the piggies. We've named one Scout, after my all-time favourite
