I think you’re right! Its the eye of Sauron, but he’s napping, that’s all.

Ugh consumerist... I used to love reading that blog.... they killed it when they closed off the comments sections.

It would be hilarious if they just up and decided that real life now exceeds any parody they could make up, and flipped to become a serious news organization.

Its actually pretty fun if you decide to go full religious war on the rest of the world.... you end up making a lot of prophets since they have the best stats and a random upgrade. Some upgrades are more useful for certain tasks so you have to make a bunch to make sure you get what you need to wage war.

I think those are different companies... that’s Hangzhou 3d World Technology

Ooops... my bad, it only includes the free DLC.... I just saw the big list of included DLC before comparing it to the full list. Sorry.

Actually this is something I didn’t think of before... will it be that difficult though? Because the housing, furniture, cars, etc are all supplied by the Government and will be left behind when they move. They’ll have personal items that need transportation, sure.... but not as much as having to liquidate large

PSA, all the DLC is included in the free game (though looking at the wiki, some equipment packs may not be included but other content DLC is)

God... I remember the Cracked (or MAD) magazine version of that. They had a 25 line program then 2000 lines of “data 123151324314123312" (or whatever the command was that flagged the line as non-executable data). Jerks.

Hopefully this letter was printed in board-book format with colorful pictures...

Sort of... however my understanding is that the illegal ivory is rebranded as legal and uses the legal avenues to be sold. Close down the legal side and the illegal side becomes much more difficult to operate.

Because we want to MAKE TV GREAT AGAIN!

Huh looks like the article was edited... it said that was the price per lb originally. So my original comment that I deleted still stands... that fake rice is too expensive to make it profitable, unless you were a government willing to spend some cash to drum up support for your new law.

Didja read the post? Its parody...

... have you actually made/seen raw rice before? It has a definite standard shape and color, not a bunch of random vaguely ovalish whitish grains. Unless you were looking at it from 10' away or something, you should be able to recognize rice vs what you described.

Yea, I actually deleted my original message because I realized at $10/100g that’s actually only about $45 a pound so its still, amazingly, profitable.

ETA: Nevermind, deleted.

Thanks for this well researched and meaty article. That is all.

I think the problem is that it isn’t a country rich in area either for solar panel arrays or wind farms... so the nuclear reactor is ideal in that it provides a lot of power in a small physical footprint..... or so my Simcity experience tells me.

I actually kinda hope they release some crazy different scenarios, I really enjoyed the Civ4 space scenario that changed pretty much everything in the game.
