Ugh, my office is right between a gym and a pokestop... my desk is not QUITE touching either one though.... but the first day I kept catching pokemon at my desk, it was pretty great.

I was also under the impression that pokemon actually move and aren’t fixed in place. If thats the case and they wander, that could screw up the tests above too.

Also going to throw in that stud-finders have a hard time differentiating between stud and denser plaster... as evidenced by the row of holes in my wall as I tried to find what my stud finder assured me was a stud :P Also some walls used a steel mesh behind the plaster which screws with things even further.
