Are there though? I played #1 and the first bit of #2 when they first came out and loved them (HL2 was at a friends place and I just never got around to getting it myself), but decided to go back and play them again maybe 5 years ago... they didn’t age well. Also each game has had their innards picked apart and

Sort of... except in this case there’s a new Disneyland being built every year. Still want to go to that 15 year old one?

Was there ever any sort of in-game explanation in 4 as to why the animals are so damn aggressive? Are you secretly wearing bacon pants or something? I haven’t played 4 but it was bad enough in 3...

Weird, I wonder if there’s some hardware link to this bug because I’ve got close to 60 hours in the game and have yet to see the console bug once and a total of 2 crashes to desktop.

That might be it... I built mine in the castle and its pretty central but yea... to put it inside I basically built a double height mall type space as you described with galleries on the sides with beds and stuff open to the central mall, then the center is double height. Hmm similar to a vault, now that I think about

I feel like I need to unstar and re-star this post at least 5x to be satisfied.

Interesting... did you put a food vendor in the dining hall? I decided to put a food vendor in town and throw a bunch of tables and chairs around it and right at the evening everyone converged on that area and sat down and stuff... thought it was pretty cool. Also usually all the beds are occupied so its weird if

Agreed but it kinda makes sense. They probably have data to show that 99% of people will choose to be “good” and make enemies of all the gangs anyway... so why bother spending man hours scripting a lot of stuff that people wont see?

Dammit, I forgot about that game! Too bad its so ancient... a newer version would be great though.

Not even that... they could just be a subfaction. Like how in the older warcrafts the dwarves were the demolitionists, the followers would probably be used as the medics for a particular faction.

Another tip I found that’s helpful for armor is just haul it home and strip out all the mods. Downgrading mods has no cost for armor so its easy to stockpile a big stash of mods.

Just a random note, the vaultboy icon on the bed just means that it requires a settler for it to be “used”. IE if its red its not being used because you have an extra bed. Why you would ever need to use that bit of information is beyond me, however.... but I guess each settler actually owns a specific bed which is

I totally get what your saying, maybe I wasn’t clear.

Enh, just make a new standard mod. Sometimes its worth a few screws and adhesive to put the original base mod back to unlock a sweet high tier mod to put on a legendary weapon.

I agree, I really liked the Deus Ex conversation tree, that whole interface was fantastic and nuanced. That being said, with a CHA of 10 I haven’t yet failed a speech check of any color. You should be able to find glasses, hat and a suit or dress pretty early that gives +1 +1 and +2 CHA or you can always take some

Enh, maybe you should turn up the difficulty? The deathclaw fight was pretty tough on Survival (which I’m assuming is the difficulty FO vets should be playing). I ended up having to hide in a building where it mostly couldn’t reach me but it would still sometimes reach in and get a good swipe. Before hiding I died a

You just get out of the armor near the “rack” and then when you use the rack the armor auto-docks to it.

Enh, I kinda think the station scrapping makes sense though because you probably want to strip out all the mods before you scrap that weapon or armor. You swap out mods by replacing them with base level mods therefore you need to do it at the crafting station anyway. Then its an extra button to scrap the leftover

Is there any reason to specialize settlements? Someone mentioned that defense needs to be equal to food + water combined, it would seem like having a heavy food settlement would require a huge amount of defenses vs just spreading it all out?

Oh wait, I see you talked about not being able to make a couch which would deeper in the menu... then dunno. You might be bugged but its weird its JUST you.
