That’s fair. I still get dragged there from time to time when I’m back in town, and I just skip meals when I have to go to the theme/chain restaurants.

Being from Minnesota, I got dragged to this place from time to time. For the most part, if you’re eating at MoA, then you’ve already made one bad decision. Rainforest Cafe is overpriced and not that great. And yet there’s usually a hefty line...

I happen to know some people who are Google “guides” and they just can’t stomach fewer than four stars. I’m not saying that there’s a TON of these people out there. But the personality trait is prevalent enough to skew results if those people have the incentive to use Yelp or Google. I did look at how polarized the

Fair point. :)

I used to do that, but egg whites are a massive PITA to clean off of most surfaces. I currently throw the eggs into an instant pot with completely plain steel cut oats in a bowl resting on top. Turn it on for 10 minutes of pressure. Hit the shower, get the kids ready, ice the eggs, split the oatmeal into two

Regarding Charlotte, the article puts it at #26, and I feel like that’s the right spot, if not further down... I’ve eaten in many of the (non fast food) restaurants and most of them are crap on a good day.

At least they tell you what their “scientific” method is. Which is to say that it’s crap. For starters, Yelp isn’t the best way to review. Then they say that the ‘best’ airports have the most 3+ star reviews. We’re talking C+ here. Pity reviews will get you over C+.

Then think about the fact that some airports may

I don’t eat hard boiled eggs because they taste good. I throw down 4-8 every morning after a workout with a multivitamin (and a fiber capsule if I remember one).

I throw out all the yolks. Yes, I’m a monster. Just want that protein.

I’ve been on the other side of this table as well. There’s a point when you realize that the conversation you are having is a waste of everyone’s time. Almost every time this has happened it’s been within the first five minutes. We were always in a chat room whenever we did a phone screening and, almost every time

I’ve had this happen. At first I wanted to believe that it wasn’t MLM, but after ten minutes or so all the markers were checked off. I just raised my hands and said it sounded like a great opportunity for someone who is cut out of the kind of cloth as these three guys whose smiles stretched from ear to ear.

They

I’ve had multiple flights cancelled for work. If my work didn’t go through an agency I don’t know if those refunds would have ever shown up.  American cancelled a flight that had the return trip two days later and they adamantly refused to refund the return leg. For a few months I’d get harassed by whoever does

Done...

They’re absolutely worth it. Because even Gorilla Glass 5 can be easily scratched all to hell by the keys in your pocket or a couple of pebbles. I know, because my S8+ was almost instantly scratched up all to hell by my keys when I threw them in the wrong jacket pocket. Regular brass and aluminum keys...

Also, my

Legend of Mana was great. I’ve got 100's of hours in a save file that probably would never load again in my house somewhere. Very charming game.

One of my favorite game mods was for Baldur’s Gate II (I think there was also a mod for 1) that skipped the initial dungeon chapter. Let you decide how you would have played it and gave you most (or all) available XP and items and started you at the chapter’s conclusion. Loved the game, but to do “everything” you

Been saving my $’s for an Ankarsrum mixer. Takes up half the space but does everything the kitchenaids do.

If you want to ‘cheat’ a bit at flexibility, here’s a tip for those who don’t want to exercise their muscles up to optimal stretching temperature.

Take a nice, hot bath. One that’ll get you good and sweaty (103ºF+). Then get out and do some serious stretch holds. If you do this, don’t work out when you’re done, though.

FANTASTIC game that I played well into the Gamecube days (I still have my copy somewhere, and it needs to be played again).

My “easy mode” loadout:
2-way back, Twin laser, (vertical never mattered), F option, reduce and slowdown or full barrier. The Wings of Destruction...

Twin laser was weak, but it passed through

I didn’t own one until well into the PS2 lifecycle, and I only bought it to play Einhander.

But the first experience was when a guy we knew bought one and came over to our place to play it for some reason in early 97. He’d picked up a few games, of which Tomb Raider and Resident Evil were in the stack. (None of the
