Maybe it should be “enjoy” moreso than just “play”? Pretty much the same, but I spend a lot of my time trying to get my boy off of video games and youtube.

I don’t know that I can recall the last time I lied to my kids about anything. They’re still young enough for that to be an easy cop out, I just don’t do it. My wife won’t lie to save her life.

I always found that ridiculous. Helping those who need it is certainly good, but only if you’re helping them understand that blowing $5-10 on an extremely tight budget is always a bad idea.

My wife does that, and I don’t fault her for it.  I just have never been able to do it.  Not how I’m wired.

A certain percentage of intake from the lottery goes to the total, I don’t know what that is, but if it’s 20%, that means that altogether around 5 billion dollars in (mostly) lower financial class money has been sunk into this SOB. Maybe the percentage is higher, I don’t know.

We do these all the time in our KB workouts. I love them because they sneak up on you. You can do a one legged no-bell deadlift (just stop with your hand 10" off the floor) and that will challenge people who haven’t tried this before.

I grew up on Jacks.  My dad would only buy them if they were 5/$10 and then we’d load them up with fresh ingredients and some extra cheese. Yum.

Jack’s is def spicy for the midwest. Most people I knew growing up in MN right here.

I don’t much care for the whole, “Oh, do you have a girlfriend” crap, because my parents did it to me and I bloody hated it and won’t do it to my kids.
