But can they land at 30 mph on a motorway and taxi into a conventional parking space?

Thank you for elaborating. Just wondering, do you know if A-10s have alq-99s?
Here's a TL;DR for anyone else reading our conversation:
Tactics is smarter because it's updated instantaneously by the operator, Technology is not as "smart", because you need to go back to the lab to update it. Wild Weasels > B2 Spirits.
Yay, gyrocopters!
I was hoping the air force would value destruction of enemy air defenses over stealth more.
Drawing analogies from gaming: If you're sneaking around to steal something small like gas stamps in Mafia 2, it would be preferable to go entirely undetected and not touch any of the guards (this would be like stealth bombing,…
In that case, the Air Force needs to buy EA-18G Growlers.
I wonder if the reason why there are so few SEAD fighter squadrons in the US is because they're waiting for drones to come in and supplement the effort. In turn, saving money on training new weasel pilots (to fly in the cockpit) for now.
Why would a bomber fit the Navy better than a ground attack fighter?
I think DEAD/SEAD is an adequate alternative solution to stealth. Wouldn't it be better to destroy anti-air artillery and radar systems than to sneak around them, one by one?
On that note, I wonder why the USAF is not putting in orders for the Growlers along with the Navy, there's only three AF squadrons (and one ANG…
Don't we still have Prowlers, Block 50 F-16s, and F-35Bs (coming to the Marines's VMAQ squadrons) to supplement DEAD efforts?
#UnmannedWeasel
The new patch for Weasel units will be JADITO (Just Another Day In The Office)
because manned fighter aircraft are bad ass. Especially Wild Weasels.
I don't think current computer systems will be clever enough to tactically avoid SAMs.
On the other hand, this might be a perfect platform to either train future Weasel pilots during primary flight training or gather enough SAM data to create simulators to supplement the training for pilots who want to be Weasels.
I wish we had an American Ebisu.. I would totally go buy a flood damaged BMW with no title or registration and go flog it till it's inevitable death by my hands.
Actually, I feel like, more F-16s should be upgraded to Block 50 for SEAD duty.
Real missile have warheads that explode near the aircraft, hitting the aircraft.
Navy weapons training exercises rarely use F-16s (looks like a lot of them switched back to F-5s, as according to F-16.net), and no F-15s, so looks like these drones are used for USAF training. They still have Red Flag 4 times a year, Red Flag Alaska 4-6 times a year, as well as Green Flag held 10 times a year (on top…
Doesn't seem like a typical military pilot to give up and bail when he/she still has altitude and speed and you get some warning lights in the cabin. Or was this made before fly-by-wire controls? (I am only familiar with the F/A-18 and F-16, and they're flight control systems are quadruply redundant)
Maybe they're the English, automobile equivalent of what a "squid" would be in the States.
I tried this with two random 911s, waited for 30 minutes and nothing changed.
My wedding will be capped off with a minigun ceremony fired from 3 miles off the coast so that conventional law enforcement cannot prosecute me.
