Not pizza but a friend got married on/near the grounds of the McDonald's corporation HQ (there's a pretty nice hotel there). Sometime late in the evening the Hamburglar came through with a tray of cheeseburgers. It was magical.

last year was it for him due to his health, I believe.

I walked into a Caddy dealership last year to look at a used CTS wagon that they had on the lot. I was the youngest person in the showroom (at 35) by roughly 25 years customers or sales force.

I picked up my used 2013 (with 9,500 miles) this time last year for $25k. Couldn't be happier. the 13s have the 333hp vs a little lower but still over 300 on other model years. My insurance guy just picked up a super low miles 2015 5.0 for ~48k. Thing is sweet. 400+hp, that'll do.

I bought my buddy a citrus stripper from Williams Sonoma as a stocking stuffer this year, totally and completely unnecessary but it seems to work well.

I had the same reaction. Getting ready to move, so I'll just dump it and start over at the new house.

Got his response... with the GT350 motor it would no longer be "quiet luxury" that Lincoln is aiming for, whatever tf that means.

Yeah, I took this approach when I sold my car last year. I got $8k for my 2005 low miles 350z (base, stick at least) from the dealership, who matched a carmax offer. I figured I might be able to get another $1-1,500 via craigslist but also didn't want to neccessarily deal with the hassle, the low balls, etc. It

Just emailed my buddy who's on the gt350 project... asked him to slide one of his drivetrains over to this one, waiting on a response.

"Best" part about all this as a former resident of Indiana who now lives in Georgia, is we had a similar bill get tabled in hearings yesterday. Never thought I'd move to the more progressive state when I left Indy for Atlanta 15 years ago.

Two things I saw yesterday somewhat related to this - there's a movement by business in downtown Indy and surrounding areas called Open to All (or something like that, didn't take the .2 sec to look it up) and a woman on twitter was posting the business/companies that the senators & reps who voted for the bill worked

Yeah, had a very similar reaction. Thought some Mondeo/Contour aspects, too. Thought I was crazy, glad to know it's confirmed.

And recently HF has started adding some pretty decent guarantees to their tools - not that it helps if you've broken a socket at 2am, though.

Started college in the fall of 1997... can't have outstanding loans before November of 1998. Dammit. Have been teaching at a low income school since 2002. Oh well, I didn't get into this for the money, just the summers off....

My wife was eligible for the 17,500 in forgiveness because she was a special ed teacher in a low income school (she's since switched to business/tech ed) but we received a note saying the forgiveness amount was NOT taxable. Was a nice surprise, on top of the money that was forgiven... thought for sure we'd get

Georgia's one of only a few states and the only in the Southeast that doesn't allow any direct sales so breweries aren't building/expanding here when they can do much better in Alabama or the Carolinas. It really sucks.

happening in Georgia right now with a beer/jobs bill act...

At least once in recent memory they did fly overs for the Indy 500. I was near the start/finish line where one stopped, roasted 360* then resumed flight at a steep angle to meet back with the rest of the group. The noise was glorious.

I remember this picture from one of my dad's old national geographic magazines!

Had a buddy that was near the Tesla store in Seattle (I think?) a year ago and tweeted a picture about how cool it looked and that it was way out of his price range. Tesla replied to his tweet and told him to go in and take a test drive, etc. Took them up on it and said it was a cool/wild experience.
