Who cares, everyone should. VW isn't going to pull a magic rabbit out of their hat. Previous generation is a good indicator of the next gen 99.9% of the time. For example: VW has a reputation for being unreliable, doubt the first model year of a new generation will fix that. A "nice" interior won't fix that either.

I said previous gen, and I don't expect the next to be a game changer. And the title says Golf R.

Its a Golf...? It isn't meant to be a real fast car, its meant to be a fast FF Hatch. And VW reliability is the second part.

But with less performance, less grip, less speed, less acceleration... probably a higher top end... Less reliability, less attractive...

When I lived in Omaha I loved Todd and Tyler, moved to Wichita and among so many things missing was Todd and Tyler for a few years... Then one day: Syndicated! It made the morning commute so much better as it is the only decent radio talk show in Wichita I have found (besides NPR).
