Just got back into that game, and while I agree the map is definitely beautiful, I sort of wish it could be a little more clear at delineating between zones.

Can’t say these point-and-click adventure games have appealed to me since I was 6 (Putt-Putt Goes To The Moon was the shit), but I absolutely love the art for this game. Like wow is it beautiful.
It’s called Cube World. It’s an indie game being made by one guy and his wife, he released an alpha back in like 2013 but I think his webstore got DDoSed and so he took it down and has never put it back up. I think he regretted even releasing the alpha in the first place, because he seems to be a perfectionist and…
Crazy thing is he’s still working on it, he posts screenshots or videos every few months on Instagram and Twitter. Been four years since he released an update to the players, but I have hope one will come eventually.
Tonight I’m getting together with a group of friends to play Secret Hitler. We’ve played a few 5 player rounds last weekend, but now we’re finally getting enough people to try the bigger games. We’ve been playing Resistance/Avalon as a group for years now, so I’m really looking forward to how our strategies will…
Are you really the Lord Buckethead or just a fan?
Bought my girlfriend a gaming PC about a month ago, so we’ve been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic together. I’m also hoping to get back into making games in Unity. They’re always just small projects I abandon after a few weeks but it’s still fun.
My understanding from what was stated above is that these are characters you can recruit for your resistance, not the character you will be playing.
Have you heard of Cube World? I mean it’s been almost 4 years since it was updated and you can’t presently buy it, but if he gets around to releasing what he’s been working on and opening the store again it might be kind of like what you’re looking for.
Although can you even buy these games or systems anymore? My guess would be only second-hand, in which case Nintendo wouldn’t be getting any money anyways. I can certainly understand the issues with piracy of modern games, but by this point these games are almost 15 years old.
Was just about to comment on the chemtrails! Amazing that those little fighter jets, crammed with all of their other equipment, still have room for all those nasty chemicals ;)
Came here for this, was not disappointed.
Oh Chibi-Robo, I loved that original game on GameCube, but I only ever rented it. Every once in a while I stop in the game store at the mall to see if they have a copy in their used games section, because I would gladly dig out my old GameCube to replay that.
When do you expect to finish what you’re working on?
No mention of Hue, which Kotaku explicitly referred to as having a “brilliant soundtrack”?
To be fair, the game has been out on PC for a long time, so this “beta” is probably just going to be sorting out console-specific bugs, so I can’t see it being much of an issue letting progress carry over.
I think that’s just 2016 in general.
Gonna be playing the last couple episodes of Orwell now that school has let up a little.
Fruit Ninja: the centrifugal force around which Halfbrick’s story orbits.
Perhaps he made this as a tool for players to build their own levels, rather than as a personal development tool for himself.
