It’s been a while since I played, but what do you mean they want money for everything? The only thing I saw them charging for was skins.
You deserve more stars.
Since this got posted on Sploid a few weeks ago I’ve watched it so many times. It’s just such a strange and soothing experience.
And that sweet, sweet music. Duel of the Fates is one of my all time faves.
Well yes, death is the ultimate consequence. But the point still stands that other consequences are permanent for that play-through too, you can’t just load a save to change them.
I think their point was that the mechanic isn’t just about death but that all consequences, good and bad, were permanent.
Honestly one of my favourite episodes.
I’m not a rocket scientist, but why would adding mass to the space station affect its orbit? F = GMm/r^2 = (mv^2)/r, the m’s cancel. So long as they’ve matched speed, and we’re not worried about drag, I don’t see how it’s going to hurt.
Holy crap, I had completely forgotten about Chuck Testa.
Are you a student? Have you ever used a Surface?
I’m not going to say it’s the end-all-be-all for everyone, but you’re flat out wrong that it’s a bad choice for a student. I’m going into my fourth year of a physics degree with a first gen surface pro. This thing is fat, heavy, has crappy battery life, the trackpad…
Star for the Brooklyn Nine-Nine gif
Although even a dim screen will save a bit of juice, plus it turns off the touch-screen.
Some of the funnest moments I’ve had playing PKGO have been the times I’ve spent running across the university campus in the middle of the night with my friends because something cool spawned and only had a few minutes left.
Compare that to the first time I played this game, where I wandered around my neighbourhood for…
I’m guessing it’ll come back later. I’ve seen people saying that the original three step “glitch” was actually a purposeful move on their part to reduce stress on the servers. Not sure if that’s confirmed or just suspicions, but in that case I’d imagine they wanted to remove any mention of steps so it doesn’t look as…
It’s because it was broken (at least for most people I’ve talked to) and would often result in the app becoming unresponsive to touch until you reboot.
Would have preferred they fixed it though, that’s for sure.
Because money. Why offer for free what you can sell for $35?
Although consider that this thing costs, what, $35? Not many people are going to spend that much in-game anyways, so I feel like it’s still a safe bet for them financially.
... What did I just watch? Is this what kids are like today? Are we going to die?
