Children of Dune is how I learned of (and became a fan of) James McAvoy.

Second this.  Children of Dune was definitely much better, and they learned to cut back on the costumes a little.

Also has one HELL of a score.

At least Chalamet looks like Paul.

Have you watched Children of Dune? It gets right most of the same stuff as the first series, but improves upon some of the less good bits. A few parts are recast mostly for the better, but none really for the worst. I feel that Newman gives a better performance in the sequel, and McAvoy is great.

I found both movies on DVD some years back and pounced on them.  Not sure if they are still out there.  I love the miniseries even with some of its more over the top characteristics.  I especially liked the scenes with the sign language in closed captions while the characters had a completely different vocal…

Unfortunately, it’s not available for streaming anywhere. Children of Dune is available at your local library via Hoopla, though.

Universal should be closed too....really all theme parks should be as they are the very definition of non essential.  But I think Disney is getting much more attention because they are SO much bigger then any other theme parks.  A significantly larger number of people travel or are willing to travel there then…

The difference in attendance between Universal and Disney World is also relevant. A slow day at Universal is like a tenth of a slow day at the Magic Kingdom.

Disney has been talking about being socially responsible. Which reopening during this time and place is not.
