Catfished.

Watching the first Mortal Kombat movie is a christmas tradition in my home. At least for my brother and i. It's so horrible, yet somehow amazing beyond belief!

And never get them wet, and never ever feed them after midnight.

Okay, this is hilarious.

Almost every day I carry a cheap, no-name, POS folding knife I bought off the counter of a hardware store several years ago. It was about $5. However, I haven't lost it (but I'm sure I will eventually and I won't care), it's easy to keep sharp, and I use it almost every day for something or another.

Such an underrated meat.

..or that. When I saw the crest I thought of this:

They need to see Collateral (it's pretty recent too, 2004).

Emily Blunt is practically the best part of this movie - other than the insanely amazing alien design. It's great, go see it.

I've come to the conclusion that Tom Cruise is a good actor but most people don't realize it because he makes it look effortless. Mainly for the reason that he plays against nothing so much of a time. His current movies are heavy in the use of green screen. It's just him and the director yelling at him that aliens are

Yes, you should. The only reason you're avoiding Cruise is because you've got it in your head that he's somehow more insane than the rest of Hollywood. He's not. They are all just as crazy as he is. He just is more honest about it.

Agreed! I really enjoyed both of those flicks very much. Sure, I can sit down and analyze every frame and pick it apart. And I have. It's what makes being a SciFi dork fun. That doesn't mean I can't enjoy those movies for what they are.

IMO, Oblivion was goddamn gorgeous. And the virtual-to-practical lighting used in the home-base sets (similar to Gravity's technique of pre-rendering effect/environments to project the lighting on the actors) instead of treating it solely in post was a lovely stroke.

I completely agree, especially about Oblivion. It was a very enjoyable movie, in a time when most filmmakers prefer to waste our time with countless and countless sequels and remakes.

You're being way too hard on both Elysium and Oblivion, particularly the former. Elysium was in fact damned good, and Oblivion at least enjoyable. Maybe you were expecting too much, or something different than what the films ultimately delivered, but I found both to be worth watching and enjoyable movies. Good sci fi,

"Hey honey, I09 says the new Tom Cruise movie is awesome!"
