I was 5 when I did first come across Super Mario Bros. at an “arcade” situated in the back of a garage.

Europe gets some awesome toys. What is the U.S. equivalent, or one that comes somewhat close?

Damn that car looks awesome!

I’ve never had a favourite Fiat before, it never even existed in my mind until the Abarth. That is one badass little machine. I wouldn’t mind owning one as it seems really fun to drive.

That is a beautiful shade of green!

Well forget Snorlax, I’m throwin’ the Pokeball at the giant neckbeard!

I think Bushido Blade is the game I’ve been longing for these years. I do like the Soul Calibur games, they’re massive fun, Battle Arena Toshinden was the other fun one though somewhat dated at this point.

Hahaha! I honestly couldn’t recall the story of Duel Saga for the life of me. I didn’t hate either games, but it was one of those RPG’s that I couldn’t really play through a second time after the credits rolled. I did like the combat system, wouldn’t mind seeing it revamped for the current consoles!

Earlier in the day (Sept. 9th), upon leaving a nearby supermarket and heading towards my vehicle, I saw a guy leave his shopping cart next to his car rather than putting it just 10 feet away at the shopping cart stable (or whatever that thing is called!)...

Just tell the appraisers, “Hey! It ran when parked!”.... and possibly run away, really really quickly.

While it’s still unclear exactly what went down and the details therein... I hope Kojima will shake off the ashes from the burn Konami gave him and rise as a phoenix and once more allow us to bask in his glory.

Awesome list! Legend of Dragoon was one of my favourite RPG’s! I never did play Legend of Legaia on PS One but I did own the sequel on the PS2, which was also fun though it had its flaws as well.

It wasn’t Ehrgeiz ...BUT this was one of those quirky arcade games that I loved for some reason. The countless times my friends would pick Cloud, only evenly matched by the times they’d choose Sephiroth. Vincent was pretty badass once unlocked, but I never did own this game. I really liked Tifa as a fighter, really

I had played the MGS games on NES (though not considered canon by Kojima) and yet this game right here was the first game to cause me to skip meals.

You, my friend, are a hero! Hell yes, Battle Arena Toshinden! This game along with Bushido Blade were what finally had me buy a PS One.

The first game that made me love Playstation One was Bushido Blade, due to it’s unique fighting mechanics. Never experienced anything quite like it again! Dying in a single move? Totally crushed my confidence, because no amount of Street Fighter II (SNES!!) or all those rounds of Samurai Shodown at the arcade prepared

Agreed! I think allowing for a proper ending to a story regardless of medium, allows it to settle in the memories of the fans and others who may have heard good things about it.

During the mid-90’s in D.C., due to insufficient funds from the local government led to a teacher’s strike during ‘95. This led to our 9th grade Biology class teacher having no means to continue teaching. Still determined to have us learn something for the duration, he had us pitch in some money towards purchasing

I’m not well-versed in military aircraft (or any other for that matter!) but this particular aircraft does not look to have any wings?

I do agree with your sentiment. It’s why I believed MGS should have ended officially after MGS 4. The thing is not many people nowadays probably even remember the first three MGS games on the NES. Most players came into the franchise via Metal Gear Solid on the PSOne, and is the more popular franchise “starter” in
