I didn’t dismiss your post, if you’ll take the time to drop your witch hunt and look at the thread, my replies are gone as well. Editors do that when posts are toxic and derailing. You’re also still assuming I’m white :)

I’m not sure what you’re prejudice is against teachers or that they must all be white, or even

If she sits in the back this is absolutely ludicrous.

I agree that basic hair care is standard, the point being made isn’t about her having natural hair. It’s demonstrating that she is choosing to maintain her style as it’s currently presented. The length of her hair seems to be the problem, not the style and not that it’s natural. The teacher commented on the duration

Firstly, I appreciate the style of your response.

“This isn’t a style, it’s the way hair naturally grows.” Her natural hair isn’t the problem from what the entirety of the artcile states, it’s the length at which she keeps it, which is her chosen preference and style. I guarantee this school has guidelines on length for straight hair as well.

In regards to “moving to

My line of questioning isn’t about whether she or her hair is clean. I’m not even touching that angle of things. I was asking about how she upkeeps her hair to determine whether this is a chosen style to wear her hair. She made the claim that the school won’t let her wear her natural hair, where this is not about

Being “nice” isn’t required. But not assuming people’s race and displaying misplaced bigotry can definitely help your stance. You’re hateful and on a witch hunt. When you’re goal is to find witches on the internet, you’ll root them out even if they don’t exist.

Much like these administrators and this girl’s hair.
Oh,

I agree, it shouldn’t be a “problem” in the first place. But, if a student states they have an issue with being able to see it is my responsibility to address whatever their perceived problem is.

I’m not there to police non-issues. I’m there to provide content in an impactful and meaningful way that hopefully the

The point being made is that she is providing upkeep to a chosen style in which she wears her hair. The school isn’t dictating that she cannot have natural hair, merely that they believe the volume of the style she currently has it at is in excess.

I not once stated that the student can’t style her hair in this fashion. I stated that if this is her chosen style and it creates a distraction in some way that work arounds will be found. Please quote me on where I stated she needs to change her hair.

“If she didn’t “style” her hair it would be a matted mess, so what is wrong with her putting effort into styling it?” Nothing :)

“Do you get your foolish ass up in the morning and walk out the house without styling your hair?” Already diving into insults, good on you.

“You fuckers are already calling her combed hair

If a student can’t see past the six foot kid because of his height, I’d offer them the option of moving, swapping or asking the tall child to move. Lots of options exist, same with this student.

Thanks, I legitimately had no idea. I could have googled, but I figured why not ask directly.

As a teacher myself, I have a question regarding the effort required to keep an afro in its proper shape. Does it require much care or preparation in the morning to keep it’s volume? Or does the individual have to fluff out the hair to keep it even and appearing in high volume?

The student here states that they just

Having been in business previously for over a decade and now higher education, I find it’s about body language when you first engage with strangers. I attend and hold a lot of conferences for educators/scholars and interact with people whom I’ve never met on a frequent basis. When standing or sitting next to someone,

“Hot Damn” cinnamon schnapps goes with most any holiday drink. Or if you’re looking to indulge in the fad, Fireball.

Otherwise, Captain Morgan Black 100 proof spiced rum goes great with coffee/sweet cream or most holiday drinks.

My Scion tC turns 10 at the end of the month, with under 50k miles on it. I move out of the country for work in another year, and I really hope it has some re-sell-ability. With the very minimal driving I’ve done it has very little wear and tear, but due to it’s age I have no idea if it’ll have any value. We’ll see.

You have grounds for full custody of both children. If that’s what you want. Get child support from her.

Verizon is selling off vast swathes of their FIOS areas to Frontier Communications in the Central/South and SE portions of the country as it’s never recouped the costs of laying the fiber in the first place. Within the Verizon umbrella, Verizon Business and Wireless are the only two portions of the company that make

Two semesters back, I came home from Christmas break; prior to christmas itself, because I received a call from the state troopers that an “incident” had occurred in my shared living space apartment. Upon my return I found my apartment torn apart with blood smears and holes in the walls. I had smashed doors stacked in
